I got a Back door Trojan sent to me earlier by a fraud on MSN pretending to be someone else. My only security is a fire wall. I have deleted the file from my recycle bin and made sure no traces are left and my computer isn't showing any signs of failure ect. Is there anything else I should do and how can I check for signs of a virus?
EVERYONE BEWARE: Do not accept a zipped file from anyone claiming to send you some facebook photos. I was sent the message from someone posing as another TiBB member, so watch out.
Any help or advice will be appreciated :spin2:

If you just want to scan to see if there's any traces of it. Use AVG anti virus, i'll pull up a download link now.

Run a full system virus scan?
Chemicle

Yeah, it's probably the best option, it gets in all of the nooks and crannys, goes through completely EVERY file. So do that one, it might take a while though, but it's better to be save that sorry :colour:

Forgot to mention, WD is a Microsoft product and is free, see the main Microsoft website for where to down load it.
