A new TV show from the creators of Lost and Alias has been announced. 'Fringe' will air its pilot episode in the UK on SKY 1 at 9pm on Sunday the 5th October. It is being described as a new X-files.
The show is Projuced by J.J Abrams - behind hit disaster movie 'Cloverfield' and series such as Lost. The series is also from the writers of Transformers.

Synopsis:
When Flight 627 lands at Boston’s Logan Airport with no signs of life on board, a special task force led by FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham is sent to investigate. Olivia's partner, Special Agent John Scott, is almost killed during the investigation, which leads her to seek the help of Dr. Walter Bishop, an incredibly brilliant man who has been institutionalized for the last 17 years.

Since Bishop's son Peter is the only person who can arrange a meeting, Olivia is forced to let him in on this mysterious situation.
After Olivia's investigation leads them to multi-billion dollar corporation Massive Dynamic, the entire team soon learns that what took place on Flight 627 is just the tip of the iceberg.

but I will be watching because anything by J J Abrams is usually brilliant

it has been getting great reviews over in the US for the premiere ! Sky1 aired thier first advert for Fringe already, so it must be good.

Just finished watching episode 1, it was great! I loved it. The first part I thought it was going to be a bit boring, but after a while it got better and better. I'm 'gunna watch episode 2 later on or tonight but overall I'm impressed with it.

The US ratings for the show and there are rumours that Fringe and Prison Break will be axed half way through the season.
I can see Prison Break going that way but Fringe hasn't done awful for Fox so maybe there is hope it well get a full season

Just watched the second episode, I loved it. I'm really suprised at how good it is. Oh I hope it doesn't get axed, it would be such a shame, I heard the Pilot got around 9 million viewers which is pretty amazing, hopefully they'll get better.

yeah, but i'd heard it'd be like that so i was kinda okay. still though, the urge to switch off was pretty strong

also it's one of those things that has to have your full attention, I watched it last night and had no idea what was going on most of the time, and then i rewatched thismorning and properly watched it this time and omgomomgogmogm i LOVE it!
