Spider Phobias?

There are so many threads about people being scared of spiders!

Is anyone not scared of them?

just the big ones, i hate it coz their legs are longer and they way they scurry across the wall or cieling or floor is digusting, i have to kill them if they come in my room or anywhere near me

I'm scared of them, but I'm not. It depends what mood I'm in. If they're huge then yes!!!

I love spiders! I can pick them up and stuff, dosn't bother me.

In school if theres one in class, I stop everyone killing it and take it out :)

I can't physically look at a spider or I begin to take panic attacks.. That's how bad I am. It's not really what they can do to me, it's just the way they look. Like, it's mostly a phobia, but a reflex too. My head automatically fdlingd back by itself when I see one. When I try to explain to people they never understand..and it really bugs me because it does affect my life A LOT. I can't even watch Rihanna's Disturbia video! I just wish I wasn't as scared..:/

I also have a phobia of people lying about an event revolving around a spider, but thats a bit off topic lol

Oh yeah, when I went with my school to Belfast zoo I held one of the worlds biggest species of tarantula.

I'm not scared of spiders at all, they don't bother me. My brother used to have a tarantula, it was so wierd (but cool)!

Yeah, all of them and anything that remotely resembles a spider like crabs, octopus etc.

I just went into my toilet downstairs and saw the biggest spider of my life, and immediately thought of this topic. :yuk:

I took a pic of him, he measured about 8" from tip to tip. We assume he came from that hole in the corner, which we've been meaning to get plastered up for a while now, so we can repaint the room.

It depends on the size, most of the time I'll cautiously squash 'em but if they're big I'll run away in fear!

I live opposite a kids school, so my housemate threw him over the gate into the playground (its Sunday so no-one is around :laugh:)
