So what you're saying is that if I hadn't explained it, not one single person would have replied "What's an oxymoron?" Oookay! I must have dreamt my "Rachel: School Daze" post, where I listed all the things Rachel didn't know and was bombarded by people saying "What are condiments?", "Who's Boris Johnson?" and "I thought Mexico was in Australia". I must also have dreamt my post about Lisa and her DNA claims, where I was bombarded by people asking me if they "could have that in English, please". Oh well, damned if I do, damned if I don't. I've removed the "offending" line, though, if that makes you happy.
By the way, you've corrected more of my posts, actually (wrongly, as it happens), than I have in total, so which one of us is the teacher? That said, you're usually nice to me, so I'm baffled by your sudden rudeness.

Don't dumb down your posts for stupid people though, make them do some work Stifter. That way by the time they're actually old enough to apply for jobs they won't be getting replies from employers saying things like...
"Tx 4 ur rcnt cv. Nfrtntly u r tik as pg $hit so we v gv ur job 2 sum1 els"

I didn't ask him/her to dumb down anything ... I find the term "just Australian" extremely offensive ... She used the term "oxymoron" and the in the same sentence explained it's meaning and added a  ... that's rude and condescending ...we all know what it means sheesh...and I told him so ... boo hoo. The rest of your argument makes no sense so I'll do you a fav and leave it.:xyxwave:

Everyone knows what Oxymoron means, its a word you learn in like... year 10 when you start analyzing poems. I remember when I first learnt the word I was buzzing going around teaching other people the word.
I bet she is just glad she knows it and wants to teach others about it.

I'm baffled by all the Mo-hatred. He is a genuinely nice guy, he's the only one who never bitches, he takes the rough with the smooth and rarely takes offence at all the abuse he receives, and he is totally himself. And he has made me laugh a million times. To my mind, he is an ideal housemate.

Hes nicer and more genuine than Darnell and kat.
thats a good reason to keep him.
