View Full Version : Swearing before 9

_Seth
02-09-2008, 08:18 PM
I heard Mo say the S and F word on tonight's episode and I'm really annoyed since swearing is only allowed after 9 and it was just after 8.

Please, I urge you to send in a complaint to ofcom: http://www.ofcom.org.uk/complain/progs/specific/?itemid=286480

I've submitted mine.

Also, what's your opinion when the "code" is blatantly broken since swearing isn't allowed before 9? It pisses me off.

I heard someone swear on Come Dine With Me earlier. Doesn't really bother me. It doesn't matter because it's a part of everyday life now, it's not as if no one swears.

I'm mostly annoyed at the blatant rule break. Not the fact that Mo ACTUALLY swore.

Piss isn't actually a swear, btw, even if it's censored on this forum/

Why don't you complain about things that matter rather than swear words on shows you don't even watch.

Nothing worse than somebody who jumps on a cause just for the sake of it and expects other people to do so themselves - even though they don't care themselves.

The code is a fantacy dreamed up by hypocrite government puppets by a so called independent regulating body.......

Everybody swears it's no big deal anymore. You can go anywhere and you'll hear swearing. I don't think there's any point in trying to block it anymore because young ones will just hear that and more at school.
