Exactly what I was thinking, she's walking out crying her eyes out but they still boo? Fine if you don't like her, but give her a break.

Insult removed. Personal insults towards members are not allowed on TiBB - if seen again, a warning will be issued.
How about someone makes you cry,and they all show how much they hate you?

For once the booing was deserved.
Kat's reaction was pathetic - and so fake. Her tears when Mo was evicted weren't for him, but fear of her own eviction.
If she really believed in "Happy Happy House" she'd have been happy her friends were in the final.
REMEMBER - this is a 30 year old woman!!!!

The number one rule when you're counselling bullying victims is to make it clear that it is NEVER their fault.
Oh, and don't say that wasn't bullying - you'll just sound silly.

I have to agree. I'm not a Kat fan but that reaction was disgusting. At least during a normal eviction the person has a few days to get used to the idea that they might be going, but she was mentally unprepared for it and quite obviously in distress. For people to do that, I think it shows that most of these people should not even be watching the show as they seem to have difficulty in seperating reality from a TV programme.
Indierock&roll
02-09-2008, 11:16 PM
she didnt deserve it but still why just cheer if they dont like her its not unfair at all
yeah that was inconsiderate of people to boo her like that while she's sobbing so hard... i mean yeah she's annoyin... but she didn't even hurt anyone in there...
JOSHUAH!
02-09-2008, 11:16 PM
The reaction was terrible, they showed not one OUNCE of niceness or sympathy towards her even though she was crying her eyes out. That girl is NOT fake at all and you could tell from her interview she is genuine!
I really hope they don't slate her when she goes into the Big Mouth studio in a moment.

I think that crowd can be too harsh at times, and it clearly got her so upset - at least Davina pointed out the sign saying 'Kat to Win' to try to calm her down a bit... that was bad eviction :nono:
She wasn't booed that much.

It was cruel.
I was laughing but not in a gloating way - more 'cause of how totally mad and surreal it was to see someone being evicted in their dressing gown & flip flops, crying their eyes out - instead of dressed in their finery, milking their 15 minutes of fame as they usually are.
If I'd seen Sara or Mikey get evicted the same way I'd have laughed too for the same reasons.
Remember no-one forces anyone to apply for Big Brother in the first place!

Was a bit mean I guess but she's one annoying person.
She's 30 years old for gods sake!! Think her Plince Charming must be a 7 year old to put up with her incessant whittering all day and to find it even remotely amusing. Think she'd drive even Mother Therasa to murder (if she was still alive of course!!).
Total immature oddball!
With both her and Mo gone in one hit it was one "Happy House" here tonight I can tell ya!! :thumbs2:

It was a cruel reaction. She has been annoying and boring for a while but that reaction was uncalled for.
She deserved boo's, but she also deserved ALOT of cheers. The crowd just like to boo people, it's part of the game.
She soon cheered up though, so I don't think she even cared.
doughnut
03-09-2008, 08:10 AM
Well, relative to previous evictions the booing wasn't that bad. And considering she was so upset as she left the house she sure looked pretty happy to me when the press were taking her photo. delighted in fact. because she was getting attention. Spare me the sympathy for the manipulative, scheming, two faced, hypocritical, fickle 30 year old simpleton who behaves like she's 10. actually my 10 year old niece would have handled that situation with more dignity. she's just an idiot.
Bells
03-09-2008, 08:11 AM
I find the crowd really strange. They tend to cheer housemates you least expect, or at least some get stronger cheers than others when they may not have appeared so popular in the BB house. Although I liked Lisa/Luke, I didn't expect them to get the most cheers - the same goes for Dale/Stu.
Anyway, whilst I agree Kat's singing, her voice and general persona could have been extremely irritating, she never did anything wrong - she wasn't horrible to people and didn't bitch etc., but on a show like BB entertainment = personality traits like that, but usually when it's not uncomfortable to watch. She was so obviously distressed, but unfortunately it was inevitable she'd get boos - that's part and parcel of a BB eviction - I just thought the crowd would be a bit more compassionate, but who am I kidding? If it had been a normal eviction night, I wouldn't be sat here feeling this way.
However, despite all that, Kat is a strong woman when she needs to be - she didn't let it get to her. She even stated herself "you either love me or hate me" or something along those lines, and she also outlined some of her flaws herself. I hope she's not too upset at being evicted so horribly. I have to say, despite the crying (which is natural), she dealt with it really well and at least she made it to the final week.
Big_Brutta
03-09-2008, 08:17 AM
Well her interview reception was outstanding. I think she was completely oblivious to the boos anyway.
Jackie
03-09-2008, 08:26 AM
I didn't think it was that bad and the booing was because she was so fake.

03-09-2008, 09:21 AM
Don't forget you have producers etc of BB telling the crowd what to do also......it's all part of the malarkey.

You seem to put yourself on the spot and above others a lot dont you?
Kat auditioned for Big Brother through her own free will. She was naive if she was expecting a smooth ride the entire way through. And if some fans want to hate on a housemates on screen character and boo her when she comes out, thats fine. It is part of the Big Brother package and anybody including Kat who was or is expecting anything different is an idiot, plain and simple.

yes, and having watched a re-run of it tonight, I looked at her reaction as he stood up immediately relieved (it wasnt her friends) as opposed to shocked she was evicted.
It was the others left in shock, but if you watch again it isnt a shocked look from Kat just sorrow to leave the place she felt happy being part of, and with her friends.

Seems that you think you're the only one entitled to an opinion....and to suggest anyone who thinks different to you was a school bully is just immature beyond belief.
Perhaps try expressing your opinion without slagging off others in the process. Practice what you preach!

bl***y hell! What is your problem??
Kat got evicted......get over it!!
Sorry, I wasn't aware I was under it!
I also didn't realise that democracy had been banned and that I'd lost my right to express my opinion. Bl oody Gordon Brown!
I couldn't give a toss about her getting evicted, just the disgraceful reception she received (as made crystal clear in my post). And I am heartened by the fact that the majority of people on here agree with me. To the ones who don't...I bet you are all ex-school bullies. Sorry, just a hunch!

Right back at y a, Superstar!
So people who think it's ok to boo and jeer a hysterically sobbing woman AREN'T bullies. People who think it's wrong to pick on a helpless woman ARE bullies. Thanks for clearing that up for me, Rob.
Arent people over this yet? Oh my god!

It was big. People are entitled to spend as long as they want "getting over it".
Although personally I am. It's still a giggle though.

Lol. Sorry, Marie, but I had to laugh when I saw that on the "I actually miss Mohamed, anyone else?" board. It had to happen sooner or later. Well deserved!

Yeah I know, you're stalking me around the forum posting the exact same post in every thread I go on.
How sad!
And don't call me Marie, like you actually know me.

Lol. Who's stalking whom? I posted that twice, in response to just two of the plethora of insults you've thrown at me and many other people. Nice try, though.
As for calling you Marie, I'd LOVE to know what I'm supposed to call you. I have some ideas of my own but then I'd be stooping to your level, lol! Now, I know this is a bizarre idea but if you don't like being called Marie, perhaps you shouldn't call yourself Marie (see the panel on the left which exists to inform other users what to call you).

I've hated the crowd boos since BB1.
I think it is just horrible, whoever the person is.

it would be kind of nice if the crowd weren't allowed to boo but then it would be weird at evictions if someone was gonna have ALL boos then they'd just get silence lol

Yayy! It's about looks now, lol! I can see why you get on so well with Marie. Oh well, at least I had the guts to post my picture, despite being ugly. What's you're excuse, Robusblind? Thanks for the compliment, though - you sure know how to treat a lady, you old charmer!

Nothing about looks. Trying to twist things again.
Try looking into your soul...........if you can find one.
