BB9 has been worst in terms of ratings but it was expected after 3 bad series
I expect if we get a great CBB6 that BB10 will get about the same ratings as BB6.
This series is a success though because it has been good sustained its audience and has probably got more people interested in BB again. It needed a good series, it got it and with a great CBB6 it will do better

Its still pulling in the same amount of 16-34 year olds as a couple of years ago and that is the audience the advertisers are interested in regardless of whether the show gets 3m or 30m.
Its also been quite high for Channel 4 and is still really cheap, so the show is really profitable. I don't think we'll get another series over 4m again because ratings are down for everything, not just BB. Noone compares the ratings of Corrie from 5 years ago to now and says thats a failure atm.
But people are talking about Big Brother again, I heard a few people today discussing last night.

My favouites have been BB7, BB5 and BB9. Ratings mean nothing to me. I just watch the show.
Big Brother has turned into an expected reality show. The hype has died down and it's settled into it's place of around 4 million viewers, which is fantastic for any C4 show.
You can't really compare it to BB1-3 because that was when it first started and all the hype was up, of course there'd be massive hype over that since it was a never before seen format. It's no longer "Big Brother: The Social Experiment" but simply "Big Brother" where its found its place and has remained there since BB5 pretty much.
