Houston to star in Celebrity Big Brother?

Whitney Houston is being lined up to star in Celebrity Big Brother, reports say.

Channel 4 producers are said to be in talks with the singer, 45, about appearing in the sixth series.

The Daily Star quotes a show insider as saying: "We're aiming high for the new series. We want top-notch stars no Z-listers. We’ll be back with a bang in 2009."

It was recently confirmed that Celebrity Big Brother will return in January. The reality show did not air this year following the alleged racist bullying of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.
