The series average was 3.2 million - 300,000 down from last year! It's sad especially when the launch was promising with 5.3 million tuning in!

Yep, It's natural.

It would be interesting to see if X Factor ratings and Im a Celebrity ratings go down each year. I'd guess they do but I could be wrong.

What is the percentage share like? That shows a clearer picture because less people may be watching telly in general this year.

Actually BB has been going down since BB4.

People lost a lot of faith in the show (BB4) because of the very dull h/mates they chose.

If you think viewers go down, so do votes.

Tonight could have been either Rex, Sara, Rachel or Mikey that could have finished in any of the positions, at each vote count there was only a mere 3.5% between the person with most votes and lowest votes.

At the Sara, Mikey and Rachel stage only 1.3% seperated Sara from Rachel (who was at the time 2nd), so Sara nearly made the top 2 and Rachel nearly didn't win.

If it went down in BB4 then why were ratings up in BB5?

Big Brother has turned into a regular show. Obviously the viewers who have remained are dedicated fans of it and don't view it as a one-off programme.

Those 3.2 million expect it to come back the next year, while the ones in the earlier BB stages didn't see it as a summer phenomena but a general programme.

It's still better then most of the ratings C4 gets. It gets ratings like that nightly with BB where generally it only gets around 1-2 million viewers with other programming. It's not gonna be axed trust me, it's their biggest show.

BB will end as soon as the main people involved behind the scenes, start jumping ship.

We already have had two Presenters leave and we are now left with two really dull spin off shows.

When the people behind the scenes go so will the main show.
