View Full Version : Creating a Website
Hi,
I'm thinking about making a Mischa Barton website for news, a gallery and things like that.
I know there are a few members on here who have their own website, mrs_rko and Damon.
Does anyone have any suggestions of where I should start ect.

www.awardspace.com is a good and free place to start out. Its easy to edit HMTL and looks just as a nice as a payed for website.

I have a website [www.17-days.com]
I started off with a freewebs site, with html [freewebs.com/sia123 or something] and then i learnt iframes after a while and got my first domain [siadelafruitcake.com]. which was hosted by freewebs. badd mistkae :p.
After that i switched to unitedhosting and I got a new domain [17-days]. I then switched to PHP code and then just got better
..then lost interest :P.
I've decided that, I'm going to wait abit untill I've learnt a bit more HTML and my graphics are a little better :thumbs2:

i started on freewebs sites like 3 years ago, then i slowly learnt about hosting, domains, scripts, php, etc.
my first site for randy orton is hosted at godaddy.com but my friend pays for the hosting, and bought the domain.
if you have a hosted site, you'd need FTP to upload your files and stuff.
there's sooo much to explain about sites lol
