Can't concentrate on homework

I keep shouting at my sister to get her homework done as she don't listen to my mum or dad but she says that she has her mind on her boyfriend and can't concentrate on uninmortant things like homework. well thats really stupid but she won't listen. can anyone come up with a solution to my problem? what can i say to her to make her understand that homework is more important than some flipping boyfriend.:mad:

Thanks, but she's 14 and a half and she really needs to get her priorities in the right place. OMG!! she's leaving in just over a year and a half and i don't want her to mess her future up. Also she wants to leave home and move in with this bloke and he's nearly 16. my dad will kill him :shocked:

You don't know our dad. he's very strict with us and education is important to him and so is my sisters future.

Sounds like she needs to have a sit down and a reality check (slap). If your dad is so big on Education and is so strict why hasnt he locked her in her room until she does it? Or... give her a good talking too? Sounds like what she needs, my mum and dad used to do that to me... until they gave up then i just skipped school for like a whole year.

But as people say she will learn from it, and when her teachers are going crazy at her she might re think it!

sounds like her head is set on it so i'd leave it she'll soon put it down to lessons learnt and realise what a mistake it is to not do it
