Fiery Mohamed has two convictions for violence.
The toy demonstrator told show bosses he beat up a fellow student with a belt soon after he arrived in the UK.
Mohamed, 23, who worked at London toy store Hamleys before entering BB, was ordered to do 280 hours' community service. He was given a similar order after a fracas at the trial of a man accused of murdering his cousin, in which he bit a policeman's finger.
His admission was cut from the show's live feed.
Mohamed had admitted both offences to BB bosses - even producing his criminal record.
A Big Brother spokesman said: "BB does not have a rule for preventing anyone with a criminal record from entering the house."
Superbitch Alexandra also has a conviction, for harassment of a former friend. And Darnell was deported from the US after being involved in gangs.
