FURIOUS BB fans are calling for Davina McCall to be axed after the way she “bullied” winner Rachel Rice.



They have turned on the presenter for her hardline treatment of Rachel during her post-victory chat.

Some even want to see Davina kicked off the show by her bosses for going “too far”with the Welsh babe.

It has been suggested that BB chiefs were stunned by Rachel’s victory because they were desperate for Rex Newmark to win.

Fans were gobsmacked when Davina, 40, turned on Rachel for being *boring and grilled her over claims that she had faked her way to the final.

Her tough questioning did not go down well with viewers who thought Rachel, 24, had already been through enough thanks to her bitchy housemates including Rex.

One angry text message to the Daily Star said: “Davina went too far this time. BB bosses should give her the boot now.

“Rachel was the victim of bullies while she was in the house.

Show bosses are said to be secretly “gutted” that Rachel won the show.

They believe that Rachel walking off with the BB crown was the “worst possible outcome” for the future of the brand.
After a couple of rocky years, which have seen the show dogged by racial bullying allegations, producers hoped this series would propel BB back to the success of five years ago.

They were hoping the winner would be London chef Rex, 24, who they were convinced would launch his own career off the back of the show.

But they were left with Rachel, who walked away with the £100,000 prize despite being branded the most boring housemate ever.

Last night a BB source said: “Usually the winner can look forward to at least six months of media attention after the show has finished.

“That’s perfect for the show because it means the brand is still being pushed even when the series is over.

“But Rachel has fulfilled her role as the most boring housemate by refusing to even meet with agents.

“Instead she has taken her money and run. She has told bosses she wants nothing more to do with the show and wants to get back to her old life. Bosses are gutted because they now have to rely on the runners-up.”

Rachel took the crown in the closest final ever – pipping blind Mikey Hughes, 33, to the top spot by just 2.6% of the vote.

But her win has left many BB fans scratching their heads wondering how she did it.

The Daily Star has also been inundated with messages from fans amazed by the result.

One read: “What idiots voted for Rachel to win Big Brother? Hang your heads in shame.”

Davina wasn't the star of BB 1 - the show itself was. Nor was she the star of BB 2 or 3. The only reason Davina started standing out as more than just a presenter is because the show itself got poorer and poorer as years went by - the reason the show got poorer all those years is because of the phoney wannabes that the BB crew have been force feeding down our throats on the highlight shows - the same phoney wannabes who get their arses licked by Davina on eviction night.

It would truly make me laugh out loud if Davina faced some kind of action because of her obviously biased interviews. I think she's so biased she's losing credibility. I personally don't think Davina "bullied" Rachel. She didn't give her the attention a BB winner ought to get, however, and gave me the distinct impression that she just couldn't really be ar$ed with Rachel or the interview. Not the actions of a good, professional tv presenter.

Nothing new there with Davina though. She always blows hot & cold depending on whether she's interviewing her favourites or not. Her interviews with Jen, Dale, Bex, Luke were very chummy & good humoured. Her interview wth Steph in the first week was cold, unsupportive & very harsh at times - and this was a 19 year old girl who'd been in tears just minutes before leaving the house.

My dislike of Davina though has nothing to do with which housemates I liked but more to do with the fact that, as a tv presenter, she gets money for old rope and is just fcuking cr@p.

I doubt Davina's going to be fired. I love Davina, personally, I think she's great fun to watch and she does her job well. I thought the interviews at this year's final were all a bit sub-standard, but that's not her fault, that's the housemates faults' for being sub-standard. Darnell was grilled about Sara - because that was all there was to him. Sara was grilled about Darnell - because that was all there was to her. (FYI, I'm a Sara fan, I'm just stating the obvious.) Rex was the most entertaining housemate left by far, hence why his interview was the best. Mikey's interview was alright I thought. Rachel's interview was exactly as it should have been - all the way through people were questioning how "real" she was, so it's only fair that Davina picked up on that.

No the last 2 years. She was good up until the start of BB8, then she just went downhill. She has been a disaster this year with her biased opinions (not really just her, all the other presenters aswell), she acts like a child every friday, and she just doesn't grill the Housemates enough; I don't really care if she is fired or not because it wont effect the show for me as I don't care about the presenter (or Markus Bently for that matter), but if she stays then i'd really like it if she improved.

I agree that Endemol probably won't get rid of Davina. That doesn't mean that they are right to keep her. She is the most appalling presenter on TV. She is so biased. She treats the nasty housemates like royalty and the nice housemates like something stuck to her shoe.

She is a total waste of space.
