Not seen it, but I have to ask. Human milk is meant for humans. So is it wrong. People will happily drink milk from another species, so why not our own?

Seems more normal drinking it from a cow because thats what I know... I link breast milk to being a baby, after about 3 you should be well past breast milk. Just the thought of it coming from my own mum goes through me!

What if you could buy it at the Co-op in a carton next to the cow milk. Why don't we drink horse, pig, dog, and so on milk?

heard lots about this am gonna watch it on the demand player thing later
i am very much in the camp of extended breast feeding (after about 3 years) isnt a good thing there is no real benefits for a child of that age to be on the breast
as for adults drinking it it'll be expressed but i cant see how anyone would want to when i was pregnant i was dared by my then partner to taste a little i tried the smallest amount on my finger and to say it was fowl is a understatement
there is no need for it in this country wet nurses are popular in poorer countries but i cant see any reason why in the uk it would be needed

Presumably because cow's milk tastes nicest. We do drink milk from some other animals though. I can't help finding adults who drink human milk somewhat perverted. Besides, from what I saw on that show they were drinking breast milk warm and unpasteurised, you don't go up to a cow and drink straight from its udders.
