Description:
Each week, the GDs submit a graphic of the current theme.
The public votes for which graphic is the best of them all.
The GD whose graphic gets the fewest votes is eliminated.
This continues until the finale, when one GD wins it all!

perhaps explain it more. Some info, what's invovled, dates etc? Otherwise people don't no what there entering.

You need to explain. Cause at the moment it sounds waaay to much like the Banner Competition.

There are already at least 2 banner competitions a year and I read a while back Scampi was planing to do some VBB Banner comp type thing. (Dunno what happened that)

This is different from other banner competitions.

Each week all of the graphic designers create a banner for a specific theme. The public votes for their favorite and the GD or GDs with the lowest number of votes is/are eliminated. The GDs are eliminated one by one until we have one winner. :)

I'm still not sure what the themes will be, but I'm thinking there will be 4 total and some possible choices are celebrities, animals, and TV shows/movies. The last theme will be "Wildcard" where all of the GDs submit their best banner of all time.

Matt's banner contests are great but this is entirely different. :)

It sounds quite similar, if I was running this. I would never ever ever base it on banners. I would have a scenario each week where you would have to design a; Logo, website layout, Advertisement (drinks, food etc..) etc....

Yeh I had that idea but I scrapped it cause no one cared and or the BB comp really is similar.

I thought it'd be like Xander said.

btw; -points at the text header-
pixel fonts shouldn't be used at a size larger than 8/10.
it doesn't look good.

hmm, it's a good idea, but this is what the banner competition is for.. maybe you could make it a bit more original?x
