- I got a row of cause for concern on my report [or was it poor?] it was the lowest mark she'd EVER given
- I got banned from making salad
- my food tech teacher called my mum every week to complain about me
- i burnt myself on salmon
- i put the cooling wrack in the oven and then put it on a baking tray

etc, etc.
i have like a million stories.
and that's just the food tech room

as for cooking in general... hmm, i gave myself food poisining from cheese on toast, i blew up the microwave, i set fire to the toaster...

Well I can cook, but the majority of what I eat is just Quorn, potatoes, pasta etc which are all ridiculously easy. I love baking, its much better than cooking.

Yeah I can cook, I love doing it actually. I wouldn't mind being a chef when I'm older.

Thread was an idea from a conversation with me, rude for me not to pop in

I can cook, but I can cook complicated things better than simple things as strange as it sounds

Yes, i think i can cook?

I had the option to do Food Tech, but in my school the teacher is S***!!!!

I do cook for the family sometimes, sometimes there easy dishes like, roast chicken and roast potatoes served with broccoli and carrots and gravy. Other times they can be hard, sometimes i just cook experimentally.

I love my baking too! I have a special trick to my pancakes to make them PERFECT every time!

I can cook, if I put my mind to it... think we all could it we had to do it. I used to be scared to try and cook things but when I do actually get off my bum and cook it turns out really good. I have to say though, I hardly cook as I'm always in a rush in the week so thank god for microwaves and microwave meals.

yeah, we've got an allottment, and we always have too much of whatever growing at a certain time, so i search "recipe with whatever" on the bbc website and make stuff.. I hate frying things though, im always scared they''ll explode. And once I was frying an egg and the pan caught fire.. it was awful!

I cook often, my sister can't cook and I've been cooking for about 5 or 6 years now.

Its a really great skill to have, specially when you have friends round and you can cook something good and impress them.
