Fair Ground Claw Grabbers

I've been on holiday to Blackpool, and i noticed that the Claw grabber things seem to be so popular now. Do you know which one i'm talking about? The one's with the claw that can grap the teddies and you usually don't win :bigsmile:?

I wondered if some of you can share your wins on the Claw grabbers. Like...what you've won etc? weird stories that kind of thing :wink:

I won two care bears once.
Most of the machines are rigged.
I've found ones called EX1 generally work well.

I once won 12 white seals at a fair while we were on holiday and my mum got soooo annoyed that i won them all as she had to carry them for the rest of the day. she wanted me to give them away, but i was so pleases that i had even managed to get one (as those claw things are so useless usually) that i persuaded her to let me have them all.

Well i went on one to win one of the dog's from Lady and the Tramp, and when the claw picked it up, it was like...a second from the win box thing...and it dropped it...the claw literally just opened again and let the teddy go :shocked:

Most of them are stupid "win every time" ones, which kinda ruins the whole point of the game.

I used to be quite a dab hand at these machines when I was little. I used to win loads of teddies. Once I managed to win 2 teddies at once.

i have won a pooh bear that had a tigger costume on and a mini tessie bear (noddy) for my daughter i tend to not bother on them that much

I won a Kermit the frog teddy once, but I get too addicted to them and really get annoyed with them when I don't win anything. If I see someone win something I'll be like oh ffs why can't I win anything? I usually end up wasting a lot of money on them, but what I hate is when random strangers watch you doing it. It's like yeah hi there I'm trying to concentrate here so if you wouldn't mind not being such a nosey parker? haha I don't say that but I feel like saying it, one of my pet hates is when someone watches over you.

Nothing I always lose on them, and once I have one go I get addicted and can't stop playing, so I end up spending about £15 on them without winning; I end it off with going on the 10p machine and clearing it out though :spin:

You ovbously havent been to Tracadero in London's west end. They have grabbers with iPods, £50, footballs, MP4 players, gold rings and loads of stuff!!

I don't like to play them though because they are just easy ways to loose your money
