She's had the same amount of singles as David Bowie, and you made a thread on him....

No she hasn't, and he's considered just a bit more highly in terms of revolutionizing the music industry.

There's 12 options on your poll for David, and 12 here?
Considered by who? Musical snobs?

12 options including "others" which accounts for, if you look at the wikipedia link I gave, roughly 40 other songs which I couldn't remember.

And no, by people with taste.

If you want to use that as an excuse for 'lack of taste', then yes.

Age has nothing to do with it?
I'm 16 and I'd say Pink Floyd > Rihanna.
As would most people I know that are my age/in their teens.

-sigh-
Music's declined so much.

That may be true of the people on this forum, but I doubt the majority of people on this forum have heard of music beyond Radio 1's playlist and the Disney channel.

So because people have different tastes to you it gives you the right to be snobby about it? Just because someone likes Rihanna more than Queen etc etc doesn't mean anything. It also doesn't give you the right to go on about what they have or haven't heard.

Who says I can't be a snob when I know that the majority of respectable opinions, that is to say, everyone but teenagers, would agree with me?

Pon de Replay. Those who are practically saying she isn't successful need to look at artists that came out at the same time and how many have survived. Shes also released a hell of a lot more songs than most artists do in 3 years and has had more hits than most will in their entire careers.

I would vote Good Girl Gone Bad, but since that isn't an option, I went with Don't Stop The Music (good dance tune).
