Hello players, and welcome to your eighth mission. :) Due to technical difficulties, the challenge I had scheduled can not be carried out, so this will be an alternative mission. Hopefully it will be easy, so here goes..

Working as a team, the remaining 5 of you have to create a movie playlist that suits each given need. (IE: #1 - A movie about alien invasion made in the 90's; Answer: Independence Day) There could be more than one answer for each.

However, here is the twist. The one-answer-per-person rule doesn't apply here. Whoever answers the most movies correctly will get the exemption. So you can solve all 5 movies in 1 U2U, but they must be correct. Any answer that doesn't suit the given requirement will count as a fail for the group.

Acceptance of U2Us for the challenge will begin at 8PM today, September 14th

Here are the requirements:
#1 - A movie that is in the IMDB Top 250 that stars Bette Davis.
#2 - A movie that is in the IMDB Bottom 100 and is directed by Uwe Boll.
#3 - A movie about memory erasing that has comeout within the last 10 years.
#4 - A movie that will be 13 years old on 22 November 2008.
#5 - A japanese movie that contains a strange amount of suicides.

Okay, I'll admit...some oare extremely easy while some are a bit harder. You can do it! Pass a mission!

Remember, any U2U sent before 8PM will not be counted. Would you be greedy and keep the answers to yourself? Or will you distribute them to others? It's up to you. :tongue:

Quite a dead thread.

It was whoever sent the most in at 8 got an exemption..it could have been a teamwork challenge, IE two getting an exemption with one person sending in 2 while another sends 2 and a third sends just 1 (the third doesn't get an exemption)

or if you wanted to be nice and only submit one.

Anyway, the challenge is over and I'll be announcing the results soon.

Hello players, it's time for the results of your 8th challenge.

This one was much simpler than others, with whoever submitting the most correct answers getting an exemption, and all answers submitted had to be correct.

The first person to send in their answers was SiaSiaSia, and all were correct. However, she submitted hers over 8 hours early, thus disqualifying her from getting an exemption.

The frst erson to send in their answers at or past 8:00 PM was Markus, who beat Ross by less than a minute!

All of Markus' answers were correct, meaning Markus has earned an exemption to the semi-finals!

The time order went like this:
1. SiaSiaSia - 11:57 AM All answers correct
2. Markus - 8:00 PM All answers correct
3. Ross - 8:00 PM All answers correct
4. DoubleTrouble - 8:09 PM One answered, it was correct
5. Arneldo - 8:25 PM All answers correct

Just about my Laptop situation, i can be on A COMPUTER just not my computer. I cannot be on late because its my dad's and i cannot sneak onto the computer like i did my laptop. If i know in advance when the challenge and quizzes will happen i can be on for them, within reason, i don't think Nicky would mind Texting me and telling me what time i have to be on? I can be on until like 3 on Saturday/Sunday but until then i have to be in bed by 11. And after that too.

I do agree with Ross, you shouldn't have to wait for me, your not waiting for me, i can still be on not as much i used to and only when necessary. Like quizzes and Challenges and stuff.

I would HATE to leave the competition so late into the game. I am sertain i know who the mole is and im not letting my broken laptop stop me from winning. Bring It On!! :xyxwave:

By doing that and going I knew who the Mole was (if i had stayed I would have known also as you would have gone). But well done for getting far.

BTW Rory on the finale is it going to be a reunion before you reveal who mole is and winner is? and will you go through week by wek as to who was tied, who thought who was the mole etc. like in the Real mole?
