He has been around since day 1 same as Davina. I think Davina should stay and get that guy off Big Brother after they were housemates to takeover he was better any person agree
I dont see why people want to rid of Davina and Marcus, to me they make big brother. Big bro wouldnt be the same without the geordie voice in the background, and Davina getting really excited over a kiss just before an eviction.

totally agreed
He's become a bit of a parody of himself recently but it would be unthinkable without him. Davina used to do the voiceover in the first series (during evictions) and it was very odd. It would be pointless having someone like that presenter anyway, he wouldn't be able to do anything because its just saying "Day 52, the housemates are in the garden".
Small things make a big difference.

Lets get this straight.
Marcus is BIG BROTHER
and
Davina is BIG MOTHER.

Big Brother is about the housemates not the presenter or the voiceover!

They thought that in Australia. As I've already said small things make a big difference.

Marcus Bentley's a legend. Couldn't give two hoots if Davina went after this year.

I would say Marcus is BIG FATHER and Davina is BIG MOTHER, tha tmakes senes.
WTF?! You call yourself a fan :bored:
I don't think he should go, but I wish he would tone down his accent a tad.
Also, the voiceover scripts need to be worked on. For instance, "all of the housemates are in the house" is a frequently used pointless phrase which could do with being cut.

Ah yes, his exaggerated accent is what does bother me with him. It's gotten stronger and stronger over the series.

no. after 9 series nobody would ever now be perfect for the job. When someone talks about Big Brother they always go "Day One" trying to copy his geordie accent. It's not BB without him.

He IS BB. He is the perfect man for it. I couldn't stop laughing this year when Mikey and Darrnell where doing the Elton and KiKi task and Marcus said "Elton and KiKi are in the living area" it was the way he said it which made it legendary!!

It's time he went - or at least his scriptwriter.
I hate now how he takes about three minutes just to say "Day One" and the time - make it short and snappy and keep descriptions as brief as possible.
Also don't treat the viewers like idiots - we don't need reminding of everything every five minutes.
Crucially though - we want to see the action, not here Marcus talking about the action - and that goes for housemates discovering tasks themselves, general HM interaction (not "earlier, X and Y had an argument") and crucially - nominations. In the time it takes Marcus to recap the noms and tell us who a HM nominated we could have seen them nominate for themselves.
But unless his style returned to that of earlier series, if they axed him I wouldn't miss him at all.

I reckon that'd make BB sound too comedic.

Both Marcus Bentley and Davina McCall are both well past their sell by date.
Fresh blood is neaded for BB10.
