In former times I would get an email notification for each posting.
Now it seems, I get one notification if someone has posted in a thread, and no more until I visit that thread.
Has there been a change in the way email notifications are being done?

Just answer this now because I've just made another change to it, for anyone that uses this feature.
Yeah, you only get one new post per subscribed to thread, until you visit the forum again. That was the way it was always supposed to work but didn't.
The other change is that if you want to add new topic subscriptions you will have to verify your e-mail address (once) by receiving a verification e-mail. It will tell you what to do when you subscribe to a thread or make a post with the relevant option selected.

A topic I was already subscribed to was treated as if I had never subscribed to it

Do you mean you didn't get an e-mail notification when there was a reply?

They only send u2u notifications when you're logged out so maybe that's why? But if you were logged out for all of them I dunno

When I replied to a thread, I was already subscribed to, it sent me the email saying I need to click on the link to confirm subscribing to a threat I was already subscribed to :conf2:

You will only have to do that once to confirm your e-mail address (unless you change it).
