It has a bit of javascript in it that causes the image to change when you rollover it with the mouse.

Its not, its a black & white image but if you stare at the dot them move your mouse but don't move your eyes, it looks like its in colour until you move your eyes.

Same, I've experianced that wayyyy too many times to trust optical illusions. :sad:

its all to do with the colour of the image before you move your mouse over it. its nothing to do with the dot. the dot just gives you a point of refrence to look at. Its the colours that your eyes get use to and then when it suddenly changes yours eyes take a few seconds to adjust to the sudden change in colour giving the illusion that its actually in colour.

It doesn't, put your thumb so you can't see the dot, look again and move your mouse over, its not in colour at all and theres no fading
