View Full Version : Last Night
I went camping with a group of friends, it was a bit rubbish though so we all bailed at 2am. Only 2 of the people there have cars so they took us back in groups; so I was in my cousin's car, and the other guy flipped his car, with people inside it. I've never experienced something so frightening in my life, the car flipped twice and we thought they were all dead - they were all fine, but my friend Lou was knocked out and had to be pulled out through a window, it was scary. If anyone had been sitting in the passenger seat, they'd have been dead... We all kind of got out of the car and sprinted to the car, but I really had no idea what to do. You'd think if you were in that situation you'd have some kind of plan of action, it was surreal, paramedics came... I'm not even sure how they managed to flip the car, it was a road of sorts - it didn't have potholes or anything, but it was going down a hillside, so y'know.. I think he must have taken a corner too quick or something.
Has anybody else witnessed/been in a car crash?
Omgg, glad they're all ok. I witnessed one, a small one, two cars infront of us crashed and one span out. Was scary at the time but nothing as bad as what you witnessed.
My dad hit someone when I was younger... I was in tears all day. The person was fine lol, their own fault because they were playing chicken. And I watched my sister get hit by a car... that was horrible.
Glad everyone is ok! You must of been so scared!

Id hate to be in that sort of position id be the sma enot relaly knowing what to do as you move some one they may get worse injuries.
The only time ive been close is where i was out in a mates car a few days after the floods in england.
we had 3 other cars and we were infront.
go tto the end of this road and it was flooded so we went bak and my mate doesnt like being at the back lol he drives like a complete idiot.
so he overtook everyone up to about 80 and we forgot the humpback bridge and well got quite a bit of air. we were fine but he needed a new front bumper.
gives you a bit of a rush really lol.

My dad was in a bad car crash once
but I've never been in or seen one
Yeah it was really scary, particularly to see one of them knocked out and stuff, wasn't cool! She was sitting in the passenger seat originally and decided to sit in the back... So glad she did, she'd have been dead if she'd sat in the front, seriously the passenger seat was destroyed.

Glad everyone is ok and no real damage has been done
I wouldn't have a clue what to do, I would be hopeless in a situation like that

I remember years ago me and my family where driving down a moterway and about three motorbikes sped really very fast past us.
About half an hour later we came to a roundabout where in the middle where trees, the motorcyclists and the paramedics. One of them was dead, but I think the other two where ok.
RIP.
I have never seen one...
I have never been in one...
I hope It stays that way.... they are horrific..
I'm glad your friends are fine (:

Hope you aren't shaken up Greg...I nearly lost my best friend in a car crash last month and he was so lucky to survive (and escape unharmed :|).
I have never been in a proper crash like that. It must have been terrible.
Glad you're ok.

It was a heart in mouth sort of moment, nobody could quite believe what had happened at first, everyone just kind of got out of the car and sprinted over to get them all out in case the car went on fire. Looking back, we could have caused more damage than harm, but thankfully everybody's OK.
