KIDS' favourite Postman Pat is back - and he's been revamped for the 21st century.

In his new show on CBeebies, Pat comes complete with a host of new gadgets, including a helicopter, motorbike and blackberry.

He’s also been promoted to head of the new Special Delivery Service – and must deliver a master-tape from HMS Belfast to the BBC Television Centre in London in a action-packed mission in the first episode of the show.

You need to realize the world is moving on wards... kids dont think the same way we did when we were kids. I dont get the problem, they are revamping it for a new generation! Kids are different than they were 10 years ago!

kids tv nowadays is rubbish compared to what we had as kids (trust me i know i have to endure cbeebies daily) they have ruined so many good cartoons by going over the top with making them modern
my daughter has just discovered the joy that is button moon and i couldnt be happier about that

well as a mum to a preschooler i have to endure daily cbeebies citv etc and i'd rather watch the classics with her for the classics are far better

That's horrible, nice graphics and everything but just not for Postman Pat. It doesn't suit it at all, and it's just pathetic how he's now got a Blackberry and a helicopter, a van was just fine, why modernize things? It doesn't even look like a village anymore, more like a make believe town.
