So yes, The Sex hasn't been round alot but what's there to talk about after Big Brother finishes? I just forgot to visit really. Being one of the strongest posters I do alot of the good work so it's easy to take my good work elsewhere and forget about some of you lot. If you lot pull your socks up and don't post such drivel all the time then people like me will stop by more often for the talk, rather than relying on BB to bring in punters.
I'll keep an eye open for good threads.

I would like to just casually point out that not everybody on here is of substandard intelligence. To say that is very unjustifiable, naive and incorrect.
If this place is such a lost cause then why return time and time again? Especially if none of us can handle your superior wit and brain power.

Nice to see SH back. It's a shame he doesn't come on more often because he is one of the best posters around here.
I completely agree with his comments about the drivel and general level of idiocy on the forum. Just the other day a thread was started claiming that only one of the moderators actually does any work. It was made worse when said mod made absolutely no attempt to set the record straight.
It's just one thing after another on here at times. Some of us try to discuss and debate but we're definitely in the minority. At the moment I'm having a very good discussion with Red Moon on the X Factor. We don't agree, and I don't think we ever will agree on certain issues but the exchanges have been tactful and respectful. It must also be noted that other members who have joined in our discussion have done so with tact and respect.
Why can't it be like that all the time?

Its not all members who are like that. I for one, can do both. I can debate about things that I believe or think with others. For example: me and Tom were having a debate about adortion and whether it was right or wrong. And it went on forever - we were never going to ever agree but we both realised that and were both emotionally involved and we still talk like normal.
I think its just who you talk to and what kinda mood your in as well. There are times that I come on here for a laugh only and just mess around in TiBB world etc. But there are times where I am serious. I think there a lot of people like that.

The Sex read the thread about Lauren's moderating skills too, but it was already locked before a comment could be made.
To be honest, there was something extremely unnerving about the level of sycophancy in that thread. I don't hold Lauren to blame, not even for failing to "set the record straight" like Girth suggests, but the people who were involved in the over the top arse kissing and back slapping really need to stop and think what the hell theyre on about before they start typing. You're making your forum look like the Idiot Clubhouse.
Lauren, I've got along with you in the past and think you are one of the minority round here who can hold your own in a debate. That is most definitely where your strengths lie. As a moderator I think you have alot to learn. When you can go unnoticed but still do the job, that's when you're excelling, not when you're rumbling round the forum like a bull in a china shop, locking, banning and telling off everything in sight.
It was just unfortunate your band of sycophants (not entirely your fault, I know) enjoyed the heavy hand of censorship so much they felt it necessary to celebrate it. It would seem freedom of speech is worth very little to them.

Thank you for your input, but I can hardly moderate WITHOUT locking and banning rule-breaking threads. I've never banned someone, only given out a warning when a rule has been broken (and not before u2u'ing them first).
Like the other mods, I also work behind the scenes that people don't see, it just so happens people also see me working on the forum.
I'm not going to let a rule go broken, just so I don't appear to be too strict or rampaging. So I'm just going to have to get on and handle the stick/insults I get for that.
