IMO (and other members) there is too many spam threads about nothing, and too many exclusive posts, it makes it hard to actually have a proper chat on here anymore:flowers:

I find it hard to post most of the time. It's totally different now to this time last year, that's why I am not on as often. It has gone worse since BB finished. There are so many threads about trivial things or personal ones that you just would not post in. I am reverting to sarcasm......:rolleyes:

This time last year TiBB was amazing, but now most threads are about msn stuff or you feel you can only post in them if your a member of a certain groups. The old 'Everyone gets along' thing that used to go on isn't here any more. Everyone's split into thousands of mini groups lol and people get blocked out and in almost every thread theres random '*****' 'BITCH' and 'SLUT' comments or the lyrics of a whole song posted (which have -1000% relevance to any thread)

I havent been on here in ages. I'll come on, look around and then leave. I think its cos all the posts are so 'personal' and about things that people talk about outside of Tibb. I'm not saying its bad to talk to people on msn from here but I think it should be kept to msn and not post threads about peoples private jokes between each other. I miss talking about tv and big brother or having a debate on something.

I think it's just the diversity of the forum, some people are up for posting away and having a laugh whilst being spammy whereas others like deeper convo. Theres no problem to have both so.. happy days.

I think the problem is when posts are made when not everyone can post in them. It's like you have to be really popular to be able to post in many places these days. I like the personal threads sometimes. It shows how close people are on tibb. It's just annoying when there's nothing else!

Yeah I can safely say after 3 years of being on here; you have to make your own fun between Big Brothers, or you leave. Seeing as every other time between BBs I've left and come back for the new one, and this time I'm speaking to people, I can also say that I much prefer staying around and making my own fun. People are complaining that they feel left out - leave and come back when the next BB is on, instead of complaining about things as they are. I mean that in a positive way - it's always the case that things are boring on here between BB and CBB. Just because some members, and I suppose I'm included in that, have managed to keep themselves entertained, doesn't mean you can't. You can continue to complain about things - but they won't change until January when CBB is on.

Seriously, if you're finding you don't like TiBB as it is right now, you're gonna feel the exact same way between now and January and will dislike anyone who you feel is "excluding" you. I'd recommend you add everyone you like speaking to and leave, come back in January - if it's bothering you that much. Honestly, I've done it every year up 'til now, there's no point in sticking around if you're just going to complain. I can't stress how much I mean that in a nice way, I'm not telling you to leave! It's okay for people to post threads to have a laugh in, but there are so many pointless threads made by the same members about the same pointless stuff.

I have been noticing certain groups forming, and I don't really mind. It's just hard when you feel you can't be in on the joke as well.

Like I said I have nothing wrong with groups, i just don't like the feeling that you can't join in on the joke, as if it's restricted to a certain elite of members.

It doesn't bother me too much though, I have friends on here and just post in the threads i want to.

Over the past few months it seems like a lot of newbies have come in and some (not all may i add) have formed there own little clique,i don`t have a problem with this but what i do have a problem with is when they make stupid ,annoying pointless threads about sweet **** all.Im all for the odd random post,hell i do it myself enough but when the whole of general chat turns into random crap about phone calls or msn convos between members it does become annoying.
I`ll probably get a whole load of backlash for this post but ah what the hell,ive said what i think

And the previous group always feel phased out by the whole thing, because they're no longer the new kids. Trust me, it happens to everyone - it happened to Princess, Legend, myself etc. when we were no longer the "new kids."

I think the main problem is that a lot of older members seem to remember what the board was like pre-BB9 but since there have been loads of people signing up and making groups and I bet there is a split opinion between whether its a problem or not and the date you signed up

seriously though: i take offence into people saying that my threads aren't open for everyone. okay, there may be a few in-jokes, but i'd never exclude anyone on this forum and i really, really like most of you, not just "my group".
the people in my "group" are really good friends of mine, but it doesn't mean i don't have other close friends on here; marctierman, christina, josh, conzors, kate, xander, etc.

I've been on here since 2006 and it has changed a lot. I think I just feel this way cos a lot of the people who used to be here have left or dont come on here much and I never remember stupid threads being posted all the time.

TBH. I don't have issues with members. I don't want anyone to take this personally but threads like "What colour are your eyes", "Tea or coffee" or "How do you pronounce my name" hardly instill me with enthusiasm to post in them. I know everybody jokes around, myself included, but there doesn't seem to be a balance at the moment. Everything is quite random and the part of TIBB where you can have great discussions and debates has gone missing.

Yeh I agree. I don't think EVERY thread needs to involve everyone. Its your choice if you read it, if its nothing to do with you then thats fine IMO. Most of the threads in the BBsections are nothing to do with us, for obvious reasons. But people can feel free to comment. Same for chat and games. Just cause it aint about you dunt mean you cant contribute or whatever. Yeh ive probably retaliated the wrong point.

I remember reading it and going "Oh god how annoying" some of them are jokes but just... really annoying jokes. Just like the innuendo threads a while back. Its like a few people on here think acting immature and adding Z's on every word is fun. Its not how the speak normally... its like they are taking the mik but the amount of times they use it you would think differently.

I dont get a buzz going around going OMGZZZ LOLLLLL! All the time, I like a good discussion about some random interesting subject... maybe we just all clash on here and dont wanna see each others threads but if I admit... I do see the threads and I admit they get tiresome.

it isn't intentional, and i just dont think its fair that we're being ripped for being friends. i personally have realised after posting threads that they were idiotic, hence why there haven't been any for a few days, and probably won't be. but with that i'm talking about the specific ones, not ones that one of us happens to post and the others are the only people who are interested, because we cant't help that, it happens to everyone where you realise that it's just been you and one or two more people talking in a thread, sometimes on topic, but it happens a lot off topic aswell, and it makes me personally feel like i'll look like a bit of an idiot if i post a reply to the op, because it feels as though i'm butting into a conversation.

Most threads are "pointless" to some people, because not everything can involve everyone.
It's a forum, and just because sometimes things come up that have been talked about on msn, it doesn't mean that we don't want to speak to anyone else on here.

Lmao no I'm not backing that up because I was involved. Tbf it's not about whether it's pointless or not, or at least I didn't think that what the topic was about. I thought it was about teh fact it was a "certain members only", which intentional or not, is the way it comes across.

it isn't intentional, and i just dont think its fair that we're being ripped for being friends. i personally have realised after posting threads that they were idiotic, hence why there haven't been any for a few days, and probably won't be. but with that i'm talking about the specific ones, not ones that one of us happens to post and the others are the only people who are interested, because we cant't help that, it happens to everyone where you realise that it's just been you and one or two more people talking in a thread, sometimes on topic, but it happens a lot off topic aswell, and it makes me personally feel like i'll look like a bit of an idiot if i post a reply to the op, because it feels as though i'm butting into a conversation.

It doesn't matter if its on MSN. A lot of people didn't understand the Amy21 thing (especially if Scampi didn't who signed up in April 07, and I signed up months later and the threads were still going), just as a lot of people don't understand the MSN conversations. I think the problem is we're on a forum where people are much closer friends than on any other forum.

It seems the so called "group's" friendship is being reflected in the way they post, and if loads of people are noticing this then it's obviously a problem for them.

I don't think anyone is against them being friends, it's just some people dislike the threads they post where people can't join in. Even though there's no actual comment saying "Only 'one of us can' write in this thread", I think a lot of people are feeling it. As much as I like these people, I wouldn't know how to reply in some of their threads, so I just close them and ignore them.

Even though I'm sure the people posting these threads have no intentions on isolating anyone from the forum, maybe it's having that effect.

I think the best thing is, if you've got a problem with these threads just ignore them, there's plenty of others to post in and there's plenty of other people on the forum to talk to.

Everyone is entitled to post what they want but maybe sometimes people should think about what they're posting before they do so.

At the end of the day, it's not your life, it's hardly school... it's just meant to be a fun forum.

However, it's just a forum, with plenty of other people and other threads. If ever I don't understand the thread I just close the window and read another one - hardly a big problem.

I don't dislike the members of the group. I love sia to bits and I never have disliked her...

It's just that tibb has changed... amazingly. And I miss the way it was. I think it's hard for new members to become regulars now, because the threads are so limited.

I understand what people are saying about 'post somewhere else' 'dont read them' but it's hard because Tibb used to be that you could go into any thread and have a great discussion and then the fun random threads that there were a perfect amount of, weren't about what you were chatting about on msn.

I don't want it to seem like we hate you for being friends cause that's just stupid. I'm close with loads of people on tibb I just don't post threads about it...

Plus I didn't even mind the random threads at first.. they made me laugh, then it just got to a point where there were no un random threads and it was like a competition of who could come up with the most random thread!

I don't dislike the members of the group. I love sia to bits and I never have disliked her...

It's just that tibb has changed... amazingly. And I miss the way it was. I think it's hard for new members to become regulars now, because the threads are so limited.

I understand what people are saying about 'post somewhere else' 'dont read them' but it's hard because Tibb used to be that you could go into any thread and have a great discussion and then the fun random threads that there were a perfect amount of, weren't about what you were chatting about on msn.

I don't want it to seem like we hate you for being friends cause that's just stupid. I'm close with loads of people on tibb I just don't post threads about it...

You're right in the way that people can ignore them - but sometimes, we hardly can and I can see why some people feel isolated by reading them.
Then again, it's all the group thingy going on, it's no big deal but I can see why some people get upset with some pointless threads.
