Bit of help..?

Well I know a few of you are quite technically minded, and I ened some advice.

I got a new phone earlier [samsung tocca, it's beeeautiful], and as always with a new phone, i plugged it into the charger.
This was at about 5.. It says the battery's full but is it really?
I'm a bit nervous to take it out in case it messes up the battery forever...

They always tell you to charge it up for 24 hours but that is just to cover themselves. I have had loads of phones and start to use them as soon as I plug them in. I have never had any problems.

I charge my Phone up for about 20 minutes and then use it.. It should be fine
