It was a good show tonight. The boys were strong, I hope Liam gets through as he's better then Alan and Scott I think (Those two would just be cannon fodder in the live shows). The over 25's were good, I hope Susie, Rachel and Ruth gets through. I think Daniel's overrated everything he does sounds the same. The groups this year are pretty average all of them will definately be cannon fodder. JLS' performance was just weird what was up with that stupid wailing? Also the one person's hair looked like it was only half finished...they are utterly overrated. The girls were super strong, I hope Alex, Diana and Laura gets through.

Based purely on talent:

In the boys category I'd put through Austin, Scott, and Liam.

Girls would defitnely have to be Alexandra, Laura, and Diana (Annastasia is good but doesn't seem to have that 'spark', Hannah is amazing but she seems to have a guard about her, and I think Amy would crack under pressure though she is good).

JLS, Girlband, and Bad Lashes for the Groups.

And the 25+ should be James, Ruth and Suzie IMHO.

Based on today, this is who I think should go through to the live shows:

Girls: Laura, Amy, Alexandra. There are so many talented female singers, but I’ve picked the three I think would be the best on the live shows based on their singing ability as well as likeability – taking into account whether or not I think they’d go far if they went through.

Bands: JLS, Girlband, 4 Instinct. I would also say Bad Lashes, but they don’t have the same sort of star quality as the others – and I think only one girlband should go through.

Over 25s: Rachel, James, Suzi. Daniel is good too but he doesn’t have the same sort of likeability – however, I think either him or James should go through. I’m really unsure about Ruth – I like her and think she has star quality, but I can’t seem to figure out where the public and the judges stand on her.

Boys: Austin, Alan, Scott. It’s difficult for the boys... because, like the girls, they’re all good and have real potential. But at the very least I can see the other three with plenty of opportunities, and a couple more years to go until they’re at the standard required.

Generally though I obviously think they’re all fantastic to have gotten this far, and they obviously all deserve it! It’s too early to pick favourites now but it’ll be easier to do so when we’re down to the last 12.

My choices:

Boys:Austin,Scott, Liam.The only two who really impressed me tonight were Austin and Scott, Austin's been very good the whole way through and since bootcamp Scott's really started to shine.Out of the other boys I just don't like the tone of Mali's voice, the other two young lads aren't ready for me but the only other choice is Alan and his voice is pretty weak in my view, so I opted for Liam.

Girls:Alexandra,Laura,Diana.Alexandra's easily the strongest vocally in my opinion and showed that once again last night.I've been a bit undecided on Laura but she gave a very good performance tonight.I've never taken to Hannah or Anastacia.Amy's got a really pleasant voice but it's not strong enough.Diana wasn't at her best last night but there's something different about her voice that makes me like her.

Over 25's:Rachel,Daniel,Suzie.This is pretty much the weakest category this year.Rachel's got so much raw talent but I question whether she can perform to the required standard each week.Daniel's a nice guy with a good voice but I cannot see him having much success in the charts.Ruth isn't really my cup of tea.I've never liked Louise's voice.I just don't see any star quality in James.That just leaves Suzie who I quite liked this week but haven't been that into in the past.

Groups:JLS,Bad Lashes,4 Instinct.The Groups aren't that great once again this year.JLS however are one of my favorite acts left in the competition,the falsetto bit at the beginning was annoying but after that I was really liking their take on the song, they are a proper group.4 Instinct are a group I've quite liked the whole way through, thought they gave their best performance last night too.Priority didn't do too badly given the lack of rehersal time but no way do they deserve to go through.That leaves the three girls groups, up until tonight Desire were my favorites of three but they were dire to be honest.Girlband just seem very average and quite bland to be honest.Bad Lashes have improved each time and seem to have a great chemistry between them.
