They have a new album coming out soon, it's called "Happy Smiles" and three new songs, White Robe, 220 & You and I.

Distasteful? It's the twenty-first century and they didn't hurt anyone. It was a smart publicity move. Tell me what you'd rather watch: a) a music video with two wholesome teenage girls from Russia dancing inside a studio set dancing to a song or b) two teenage lesbians from russia, being looked down upon by those around them.

It created controversy which helps a song sell. You can say it was a bad move, but it helped them sell a lot of records and build them a big fanbase.

Distasteful? First of all, they never admitted that they were lesbians in the first place apart from a small joke on Liquid News. And second of all, some of the biggest artists in the world have created controversy to help their record's sell.

t.A.T.u and their management were actually clever in creating a "lesbian" image and it really helped the sell records. They made it onto the news all over the world. They were all Richard & Judy talked about for MONTHS. They were in every magazine/paper and that combined with good music they sold MILLIONS of records. :spin2:
