You don't have very long to wait now until the first of TiBB Idol's live shows airs on the forum. All of the judges and contestants are eager to get going and hopefully get your votes!

The show will begin at approx 6:30pm, and voting will begin around 7:15pm!

This week's theme will be 90's Pop!

Right, i've decided to go to Plan B as a last resort. I started to upload the files to the internet around two hours ago. However, they are taking far far too long to upload and therefore i've got no other option but to prospone the show until tomorrow night. Sorry to disappoint, but I think it is for the best.

We had technical problems last year, the internet must hate these shows! I want the show to pan out really well, so if that means waiting until everything is working then I think that is better.

First off, I know its fun please, if I offend you, don't take it too seriously. I'm just saying what I'm supposed to say to make everyone better. Good luck everyone.

Darenn - This song is such a hard song because you have to keep singing without breathing for a while and you can tell it was having that effect on you. There were parts where it was off a bit, but when you were on it you sounded really good. When I sung it a few years ago in series 1 I used the Cascada version, partly because I found it easier. I'm definitely keeping my eye on you because you can tell something great is there.

Fom - I really had no idea how you would sound! I've read people say you were good but I haven't heard for myself and I can honestly say I agree 100%. When I saw you were singing 'My Heart Will Go On' I was like "Oh dear god..." but you really pulled it off. I couldn't fault anything. One of, if not the best I've heard on all three seasons of this game. Right now, my favourite. Showing off what you've got is probably the best thing you could have done to introduce yourself. Well done.

Fom - You have a lovely voice, I don't think this type of song suits your voice though. But you voice is just lovely to hear. You held all the notes almost perfectly, I can't actually fault that much, Well Done though! Strong competitor.

Darenn - I found this performance quite week, It felt like some parts you weren't even singing, but just talking, You should of chosen a different song. Your voice in this sounded just really out of tune and bland, didn't sound like you had much enthusiasm. It is a hard song to sing and I felt that it didn't suit your voice.

Conzors - I'm going to be honest - I expected you to be SO bad. I'm shocked, because you're actually pretty good! The constant huffing wasn't really needed, but I understand it was probably a natural thing. Just keep doing what you're doing now and you should go quite far. I think you're one for the public to watch.

Nickyy - It sounded to me as if you were trying SO hard that you were adopting some new voice style. There was shouting, but your vibrato worked kinda well at certain points. I think if you stay you should try a slower song just so we can actually hear what Nicky sounds like. I think you did a great effort and good luck.

Conzors - Very nice song, you sung it well throughout, you managed to hold you notes throughout the whole song, I did feel though you should of chosen A song with more vocal range as you only really sung this in the same range, otherwise Good Performance. I did expect you to be bad, but I'm actually quite shocked.:thumbs:


Nicky - I felt as if you almost just shouted throughout your performance, and you weren't so much singing this, but when you were singing it did sound good, I would go for a much less upbeat song to be able to hear your voice properly, although it was a upbeat song I can say that you did have the energy to sing this type of song. :thumbs:[/b]

James - Your voice has really changed since last year! Last year you were one of the best and it was a shame to see you go, because you have a good voice. I don't think the song was 100% right, at some points you could tell you were trying too hard to sing it right, especially towards the end. But you know, you're better than this and I'm not going to judge you on it. Definitely not one of the worst though.

James - You did choose a great song, it as upbeat and had a fast tempo, You sang it with lots of energy and it did really show in your performance your were really strong in some parts, your voice did crack in a few places but your were able to keep up the fast pace and rythmn of the song and it was just super, but I think you did choose a good song for first round, really well done.

Billy - I think you did the song justice. You held the notes very well at times and I was pleasantly surprised. You have a nice tone to your voice when you hold a note. Well done, you were pretty good!

Dezzy - This was actually one of the first song choices I've heard tonight that I agree with. You sound good singing along with this song....but it seemed as if you forgot the words sometimes? It does take serious balls to do something like this, so well done.

Dezzy - I think you sang fairly quiet during this, I didn't get too hear much of your voice but from what I heard it was ok, not much vocal range though,but sompe parts you sang quite strong and other times were quite weak? And some parts you sang stronger than others, next time try using your voice more, cos I want to hear what Dezzy sounds like!


Billy - You do have a nice voice, and it would of been better if you chose a slighty faster song as I did think it would suit it soo much better, nevertheless your voice sounded quite nice and soft at times and really strong, and at others slightly cracking but not much. But Well Done!

Daren, you chose a really good song which complimented your voice nicely - and it got better when you eased into the song. You have a natural talent but I don't think you put enough raw feeling in to it. If you want me to believe you want to love me "truly, madly, deeply" make me FEEL it. It felt a bit forced, and a tad monotone because of it, which resulted with your notes occasionally going off-key. With a bit more emotion and practice I can see you going far.

Fom, when I first saw what song you were going to sing, i thought "oh god". But, I think your voice was so natural and strong, and you didn't hit a bum note. It was beautiful, in my opinion. You seem incredibly relaxed, which is good - but I could also imagine you singing with your eyes closed when you sing it? I think you're a strong contestant but you need to bring some of that "Fom-ness" into it. Yes, you're a TECHNICALLY good singer, now let's get some of yourself into it!

Conzors you have a sweet voice - but I'm hearing a bit of a lisp? I think you need to improve your diction, I sometimes couldn't hear what you were saying. You hit most of the notes, which was good, but it felt a bit warbling at sometimes, but overall I think you're good, I think with a bit of improvement you will be a STRONG contestant. I'm pleasantly surprised. Oh, and choose a song better suited for your voice next time.

Nicky woah! wasn't expecting that voice. The problem is, I felt you were shout-singing at me, and adopting a different tone of voice. It doesn't really feel like the "you" is coming across. I think you should've toned down a bit - I didn't like the choice of song either, sorry. However, you have a really clear voice though, and I actually enjoyed it! Well done. Next time choose a song with more singing and less instrumentals.. and you don't need to scream!

James_h good song choice, reminds me of the 90's. Also, I really like your voice - I felt you emphasised on each word though, so it wasn't "dancing" it was "daaancing" and "bullet" went to "bulleeeet". You lost it a bit in the chorus, you should have changed your vocal range - it felt the same all the way through. Also, get rid of your American accent - Ricky Martin was English (though if you are american i deeply apologise :P). Regardless of this, I think you look like a good contender, and you're one to watch!

Billy21 Oh my god! Not what I expected. I actually quite liked it, though I felt you were being a bit patronising - like you didn't believe it. Your tone and diction was good, and your song suited your voice.

Dezzy This was odd! I like your voice though. I think you should've chosen a song which showed off your voice more - it felt a bit bland. But you were never out of tune, I just think it was the song which was the bad decision. You were fairly monotone - as if you were talking, but not? When you sang the chorus bits it was okay, but you should sing all the way through it / chosen a rap.
