View Full Version : Should the public vote be scrapped?

Would it make the show a little more interesting and a little less controversial, if they scrapped the public vote, at least up until the finale stages, and let the housemates / ex-housemates choose who goes like in BBUS and other similar shows.

As someone who rarely votes due to all the putting housemates back in and favouritism of the show's producers, I wouldn't really mind it.

But then I wouldn't want to loose it's quirkiness and turn into a blood battle.

No way, the public voted out the right people this year, so HMs that are bitchy will not be nominated because people won't know about it.

In some ways I'd like it as it would spice it up, the housemate wouldn't expect it and it would five a new dimension to the show for the viewers.

Inother ways I wouldn't enjoy it as it akes away from the excitement and I would feel less involved!

Naa, I know someone hated will end up winning.
eg. Dick in BBUS8.

No way for two reasons

1.The housemates are too scared shitless the public would hate them for it.
2.The housemates in the UK don't respect good game play.

No!!

Imagine if the ex-housemates were deciding who to evict this year, we would have lost all the good ones by the final week.

No, although the public really messed it up last series, I don't particularly mind it because it is unpredictable sometimes and it has a 9 year tradition.

The problem is mad people voting more than once - it should be limited to one vote per household.:eureka:

I think it would be fun to do it as a theme, for one or 2 weeks, where the public is not involved. But not all the time. The fans will switch off!

no way as the housemates have different opinions of their fellow housemates than the public do and if the publics favourites keep getting voted out it wil cause alot of hassle plus the public like to be involed in someway

Considering nobody votes now anyway, I'd have no problem with them axing the public vote if it makes for a better, more entertaining show.

However, the public must keep the final say on who wins.

That's a must.

Why? It would just be the same result but with less votes.
