Hello, For all those who want to die t/ diet can come here. :P.
Basically, if you're trying to lose weight and finding it difficult, here is a place to write down what you ate that day / get tips on how to make it more balanced / what you need to do to excersise / your goals...
and then say how much weight you've lost/gained [only do this ONCE a week and at the same time on the same day to be accurate. and you don't have to say your weight, just if you've lost any]
:)

Also, I'm going to hold interviews with a different TiBB member every Sunday about how they're getting on with food / eating disorders they may have had / image problems. I think it will help everybody see that we're not alone here, I suppose.

I gained 2 stone from exams.. since early August 2008 I've lost One stone - 14 pounds. When i was on the new york diet and now I've stabilized at a weight

Ideally I'd like to lose One and a half stone more - 21 pounds
I'm going to weigh myself every Tuesday morning :)

What I ate today
Breakfast: Bowl of Special K
Lunch: Chips and Sausages
Afternoon Snack: Two Cookies and a Chocolate bar..
Tea: Two Bowls of Special K
Anything else: Love hearts and Lollypops
Drinks: Mostly water and a glass of orange juice..

Exercise
In total, around 2 hours walking.

I gained a bit of weight ober the summer, and now that I got my hair cut shorter, it's a bit more noticeable on my face. I just want to loose my belly. I'm gonna go tomorrow before dinner.

Im going to weigh myself every Thursday Morning.
I would like to loose 1 stone as i put on a stone last summer.
Today ive had quite alot because me and my friends went to a resturant after school and had a 3 course meal. Tommorow im going to try and give myself enough time to have brekky so i wont be hungry during the day.

Oooh i love this thread it makes me feel like im not alone haha x

Just some stuff,

- when your hungry, eat right away so you don't crave and over eat later on
- drink ice cold water, heard it helps you lose calories
- if you only want to look slimmer just for a period of time, drink lots of green tea, helps you lose water weight
- if you're not into dieting, just eat smaller portions, cut out soda, drink more water, etc.

I know, I just never have any time! I tend to leave homework to the last hour, then I'm up all night when I realise I had more than I thought plus I'm no here. I'm going on a school trip tomorrow so my homework won't be needed therefore I'll do it at a reasonable time tomorrow and get a good nights sleep tonight (well at least 7 hours) so that I'll be able to get up in the morning!

Thats good for me, I can only drink ice cold water, I put like seven cubes in. Room temperature water just makes me feel queasy!

Edit: One thing I will NOT be doing. Is giving up fizzy drink, sorry cant do it.

My biggest vice is crisps, I am literally addicted to them, I can't go a day without them and if I can get away with it, I'd eat too. I use telly as an excuse, like "Oh something big is happening in Corrie tonight, I'll have a a packet when I watching!".

hmm like when i attempted 2 4 6 diet,i changed it to 6 8 10 though and still nearly passed out every day

Which is NOT good. We're encouraging healthy eating and being fit and sexy and slim[mer] on here through SENSIBLE ways.

though i do have to say the NY diet was a good boost, even if i did feel like ****

i think easing yourself in to develop new habits is better than suddenly dramatically changing your diet.. it'll **** up your body

Xmas is a good time of year to lose weight apparently.. if you have willpower through that, you'll have it through everything.
Also, people comeback and say "i gained so much weight!" and you're like "i lost some. HAH"

Yeah I always give them up for lent (I just use it as an excuse to diet really!) and each year it gets harder, last year I was literally dying for one every day, I kept making excuses like, "I just found out my sisters pregnant", or "Pringles aren't real crisps cos they don't come in packets!"

I cannot stand green tea, it tastes like kippers imo, but you can get lemony ones and stuff which aren't as bad. One of my best friends really likes it though so I dunno, it might just be me :laugh:

I tried the kellogs cereal diet for a year and lost three stone. it was really hard though and i ended up putting a stone back on after it.

People would be surprised how much weight they would lose if they just exercised often... I eat pretty much what I want but just exercise all day and I aint fat or anything... instead of sitting about I go for walks when bored and Im always on my feet all day, always running about always jumping and stuff... yes im knackered when I get home but its worth it in my opinion.

Lunch: pizza and ice cream :P
Afternoon snack apple, 4 pieces of toast
Tea Rice, Chicken, Naan Bread.
Desert 2 biscuits and about 20 grapes


Drinks 3 glasses of water and a big glass of milk

I had three of my five a day. I may have one more thing in a sec.

Excersise: half hour walking..

oh dear.. need to eat 3 more pieces of fruit and veg :]
I'VE HAD NO DIET COKE TODAY! just water
tommorrow i'm going to have a healthy lunch and try and have at least 4 pieces of fruit/veg and also no soft drinks

On this thread we're here to advertise healthy eating and a good lifestyle, but you clearly do need some help if you're telling the truth - I know it's really hard to lose weight but doing things like that is not healthy and can seriously effect your later life. If it's got so bad that it is a disorder, I think you will need to see your doctor - as Hannah said, talk to her, I'm sure she'll give you good advice, but remember, we're not here to judge you and I am not here to criticize :P, - we're all here for eachother to help you and everyone get through these times :)

I need to get healthier.
A LOT healthier.

I've improved, mostly thanks to my boyfriend, and have also started introducing salad into my diet.
It's difficult since I can't stomach food I've never tasted before/take an instant dislike to [even if I haven't tried it].
I've even started to feel sick during a meal, which can't be good for me.

It's hard at lunch as well, since there's LOADS of places to eat at Lunchtime around my college, and I prefer to go Sainsburys/Greggs/Starbucks, whereas my mates like McDonalds/Sam's Chicken [or Sam's Pidgeon, as I'd rather call it, it's just gross].

I'm addicted to Innocent Smoothies though.
They're made from real fruit and worth 2 of your 5 a day.
I love themm.

Okay the diet really does start tomorrow!

I couldn't do any of my plan today cos the people on our school trip kept shovelling fizzy drinks and crisps at us.

But I will make myself do it tomorrow!

I didn't complete my goal of yesterday, of having my 5 a day but i improved by having 3 :). Tommorrow I'm going to have 4 at least, and also have no fizzy drinks and I'll have a healthier lunch.

I do the diet coke diet. Drink diet coke for as long as you can before fainting. I went 3.5 days. :bigsmile:

Breakfast: Skipped again :( Slept too late
Lunch:A chicken and stuffing sandwich, half a galaxy bar and a packet of crisps :bluch2:
Supper:A Cheese and Bacon panini with mayo. Plum crumble with sugar and whipped cream

Drinks:Water, fruit juice and a small glass of Fanta Lemon

Exercise: about 40 minutes jogging (collectively)

Wow I ate **** all today! The supper seriously needs work!

Drinks: Other than water i had some tropical juice in the carton and a bottle of fruit shoot

Excersise: Erm well i walk for about half an hour on the way to school, then i walk for about 40 mins on the way back. I danced a little when i got home too

I always think that I'll exercise it off but I always end up gaining a pound. I'm having turkey later too because it's Thanksgiving in Canada :hugesmile:

Okay I'm *stone and 4 and 7/8 pounds. I'm gonna try to loose the 4 pounds and see how I go from there. It's not that I'm unhealthy, I've actually checked, but I'm not happy with the way I look.

I haven't had fizzy drinks in one week. This week I'm gonna tackle the crisps.
