View Full Version : Nomination Time?

The housemates have been thrown into turmoil after Big Brother announced that they will be expected to nominate this evening.

After a day of playing cat and mouse with the housemates, Big Brother made the announcement.

"This week's nominations will be taking place in one hour's time," boomed the all-seeing one's voice.

The housemates, barely awake after an afternoon nap, looked puzzled - apart from Jason who smirked at the news.

Shell suggested they refuse to nominate, already convinced that someone would be leaving this evening.

"They'll just use it for something nastier than actual eviction," she proposed.

Shell called a conference and the bleary gang assembled on the decking while Jason preened in the bathroom.

"Why are they doing this?" asked a distressed Shell.

But after today's strange goings-on nobody could form a concrete conclusion about Big Brother's plans.

"It could be a complete red herring," speculated Daniel who also thought they could be nominating people to stay in the House.

A disgruntled Nadia branded the move "disgusting" and "ridiculous" as they went on to discuss their dislike of the nomination process.

They also pondered whether there would be a new housemate joining them.

"They probably want us to think that," offered Daniel, clearly unsure what to make of the latest development.

"I knew there had to be a twist some time this week," said Shell, pensively rolling a fag.

"We just have to play the game," sighed Daniel, resting his head on his hands and resigning himself to the situation.

Daniel's rather enjoying playing "Big Brother's Bluff," a clever move to gain votes, but I'm not complaining...

It's worth remembering that all BB are really doing, here, is messing around with the housemates. The list so far for today is:

Random Alarm Calls
Random Soakings from the sprinklers
Calling housemates to the diary room and asking which housemate they would like to return
Calling housemates to the diary room and instructing them not to discuss their conversation with Big Brother
Making housemates nominate, in public, in the living room area, on the sofas, face-to-face
Forcing the housemates to pack their suitcases within one hour this morning

So really, it's evil attacking time on the BB farm.

I actually think BB expected them not to nominate, gives them a reason to sort out the eviction on Wednesday with that additional evil twist.

No, No, No, No

The housemates have defied Big Brother by unanimously refusing to nominate this evening - costing one of them a special prize.

Daniel was called to the Diary Room after repeatedly refusing to name a nominee. While he conferred with Big Brother, the other housemates formed a plan.

Deciding not to make nominations, they speculated the consequences of their actions.

"I feel dizzy actually," said Stuart weakly, the tension becoming too much.

Shell branded it the "hardest thing". Jason then came up with an idea that they all vote for each other in a way that they would ensure that they all got one vote each.

A belligerent Daniel then emerged from the Diary Room - and still refused to play ball with Big Brother.

"Do what you want, guys, but that's my decision," he said firmly. But his cool façade soon cracked.

"I never broke a rule in my life," he admitted, shakily sparking up a fag.

Jason was next up to nominate. Ignoring the instruction he continued to chat. Again Big Brother told him to name a housemate. But the command fell on deaf ears and Jason too was summoned to the Diary Room.

"You got the message now, don't you?" retorted Nadia defiantly when asked by Big Brother to nominate. She eventually named Diandra, the garden statue, as her nominee when asked a second time by Big Brother for a name.

Nadia's refusal to nominate was accepted by Big Brother, prompting puzzled expressions from the housemates.

"I feel, like, really scared," whined Stuart after Shell too declined to obey Big Brother.

And as his turn to nominate arrived, he followed suit saying sheepishly, "Sorry dude - I can't nominate."

After a few minutes, Big Brother delivered the sting in the tail:

"Today housemates were asked to make one nomination. The housemate with the most nominations would have been presented with a special individual reward. As housemates chose not to nominate, no one will receive the special individual reward. Housemates are now free to leave the sofas."

"Do you mean we've gone through all of that today for that?" snapped Nadia.

But Shell didn't think they were out of the woods yet, murmuring, "One of us could still be going..."

I just think that it is so funny - but what is good is that they all stuck together and refused to be made to nominate it showed that they must all care for one another a little bit

That's what I thought Kore.

It would also cause friction within the group and they are all getting on well at the moment.

I'm genuinely surprised Jay didn't vote.
