Well all I can say is she's from Southport, go Adlele. I suppose I better support her hope she's ok, and I don't regret it.:conf:

All the above posts show how much things can change, eh?
No-one really liked Jade at first anyway but Adele was quite popular in the beginning - she was my fave at the start, things really have changed!:flower::laugh::flower:

Never mind, Steve_o, Mrs Oldgit loved Adele at the start and how hates her with a vengeance, even more than she hates Alex!
I was never struck on Adele, my early faves were Alison, Jonny, and Jade. I wasn't sure about Kate but now I really like her.

Hi - I'm new to the site. I joined because I needed an avenue to let out my anxiety...
I'm starting to get depressed about BB this week. I cannot understand why Adele has turned into Britain's new figure of hate. I'm not saying we all have to like her, but to HATE her? What exactly did she do to deserve that? Where is it written that if you dislike somebody, or find someone annoying that you have to tell them. I am sick of hearing about how two-faced everybody is as if the public have never spoken about anybody behind their backs. 90% of BB watchers have taken the moral highground - it's as if they believe that if they were in the house they would never discuss other housemates and they would be adored by all (yeah right...). Adele has behaved quite normally in my eyes, and in my opinion, is quite a compassionate person. There is nothing more irritating to me than a person who uses "honesty" as an excuse for being nasty to others (like Sandy telling Jonny he didn't like him - what was the point of that? It just hurt Jonny's feelings). Adele is good with people (which is why most of the housemates have liked her) and I respect that she doesn't treat the people she dislikes badly.
I would also like to know why nobody makes allowances for contestants - it's not as if we're seeing an accurate picture of what they are really like. It is an artifical situation where contestants are forced to spend 24 hours a day with people they would never normally associate with. And yet they are judged as if they are two dimensional cartoon characters (ie Good or Evil).
Rant over. Does anyone agree with me, or do you all side with "the public"?

I agree with you.
When Adele spoke about Jonny behind his back she was speaking from the heart, not just trying to influence nominations. He genuinely irritates her and there is nothing actually wrong with that.
It's not even very good tactics. What goes around comes around. Jade spoke to PJ who will then tell Jonny and everyone else in the group. PJ, on the other hand, spoke in the conversation that was shown last night, about how he keeps negative opinions of the other housemates to himself. That is the real way to play the game: no one, not even the viewers, ever finds out.
When all is said and done, they're taking part in a TV show, and if it wasn't for people like them agreeing to take part in the first place, we wouldn't have anything to talk about here. To describe someone as 'evil' because of this is ridiculous, I think.
