For anyone who is interested i have a vacancy on my site, here are the details of the job:

Job Title: Senior Forecaster
Working Times: 4 days a week in your own time, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Pay: 75p per update, average of 30 to 50 updates per week.
Job Description: You will be required to update forecasts, issue weather warnings and moderate the community areas of the site. Occasionaly as part of your senior role you will need to hold/co-host team meetings, breifings and training events online. No weather forecasting experience is needed as we operate a "train on the job" scheme.
Essentials: Reliable Internet Connection, Valid UK Bank Account for payment.
Would like but not essential: MSN Messenger, Microsoft Office.

yes 75p per update, considering it will only amount to around 6-8 hours a week the weekly pay will average at around £25, which isn't bad.

I wouldn't do it, they're asking for a phone number and theres nothing to say its a fake. Secondly, 75p?! Would anyone in the right mind honestly work for that?

75p per update will add up, considering its just updating a few pages a few days a week isn't bad, i'm asking for a phone number to contact you incase of site failure or i can't get online for some reason, not as a main contact route, i will always use email for that.

Will the person have to be self employed or exempt from NI & tax? I would seriously consider this before offering payment to someone online without looking at the tax implications. You can cover yourself if you make the post a self employed one, which would mean you have a little less control over what hours are worked etc..
