So there are five housemates left in the house … and there can only be one winner. Here’s a brief outline of how the final days of Big Brother 5 on Channel 4 will work and how five will eventually become one.
Wednesday 4th August – EVICTION SHOW
9 – 9.30pm
The first of tonight’s shows will be a recap of the last 24 hours in the house. Davina will then explain that voting lines for the final five housemates will shortly be suspended, and a reading taken to ascertain who will finish in fifth place. (The lines will re-open when the evictee is announced to Channel 4 viewers).
10.30 – 11pm
The person with the least votes at the point when voting lines were suspended, will be evicted from the Big Brother house, to be greeted by Davina and the crowd. Davina will then interview them about their time in the Big Brother house. The vote lines, to determine who should win Big Brother, will re-open and new votes will be added to those already cast.
Thursday 5th August
10 – 10.45pm
A recap of Wednesday’s action in the house, including the departure of the eighth person to be evicted from the house.
Friday 6th August – LIVE FINALE
8.30 – 9.30pm
During the first of tonight’s two nail biting final shows, phone lines will be suspended and the person with the least number of votes will be leaving the house in fourth place. The voting lines will re-open once the announcement for fourth place has been made to the house. The public will continue to vote for who they want to win. The housemate in fourth place will leave the house and be greeted by Davina and the crowd. Davina will then interview the housemate in fourth place about their time in the house.
The vote lines will then be suspended again, the votes counted and verified, and Davina will announce who has finished in third place. The vote lines will then re-open, to determine who should win out of the remaining two housemates.
10 – 11pm
Vote lines to determine who should win Big Brother 2004, will remain open as the housemate who has finished in third place, leaves the Big Brother house. They will then be interviewed by Davina.
Voting lines will close and Davina will announce to the final two housemates, who has won Big Brother 5. The runner-up will leave the house to be interviewed by Davina, followed shortly afterwards, by the winner. The winner will leave the Big Brother house, to be greeted by the crowd, interviewed by Davina and be crowned winner of Big Brother 2004.
Davina will announce the winner at approximately 10.40pm.
