Yeah, his brother's gonna say its my product but the thing is I wasn't even told when I bought it that I needed a license...

get on to the tv liscense people its easily sorted my ex brought a freeview box out of his catalogue and i got a letter about it cos tv liscense is in my name all you need to do is let them know the address its used at they will check records and go on the tv liscense on that property

Yeah, notify them you're changing the address to the current one (yours... which I assume has a valid TV Licence for it).

How come your friends parents done have a tv licence for their house?! Doesn't he own a tv? Or is he watching it illegally, oooh.

Its because of the TV License and the name its in. It should have been sent in the TV license holders name. I got a letter ages ago because I bought a TV but I give my name and address, not my mums name (the one who has the license) but I phoned them up and it was all sorted.

Thats what I thought! But sometime its being blamed on me...

I think we only put it under his was because he knows someone there and it would have been liable for a discount lmao.

I think I'm out of it now...well I have a way. Nah, I just bought something from PC world but it was registered under another address, they didnt have a license in their house for the product, had been warned but didn't know etc..Its all sorted now hopefully lol.
