The housemates have no idea that in just a few hours one them will be leaving the Big Brother House forever.
But something had put the wind up them last night and the bedroom was like Piccadilly Circus with restless housemates coming and going all over the place.
Nadia was the last to bed, and the first to get back up again. A sensitive soul, she often suffers from insomnia and late-night fag cravings.
The night she heard her name float over the garden wall, the paranoid lady didn't get a wink of sleep, and last night was another difficult one for her. She went out for a cigarette at 2am and was up again at 5am, pacing the kitchen and garden.
Stu is one of the best sleepers in the House, in fact he has described sleeping as "Amazing", along with everything else in his life. So it was a surprise to see him up and out of bed at 5.40am.
He loped out into the garden, wearing a distressing combination of floral shirt and floral shorts. If only Michelle could see him now, although it would be no surprise if she taped the shows back-to-back to keep an eye on her boyfriend.
Jay started murmuring at about 5.30am, and his open eyes revealed that this wasn't sleep talk. The trainee air steward just missed Stuart when he trotted to the toilet shortly before 6am.
Dan's eyes opened once or twice in the wee hours. But he didn't leave the bed, contenting himself with staring wide-eyed into the dark.
It looked like Princess Shell was going to sleep straight through, but lo and behold, at 6.41am her little eyes fluttered open and she started to shift uncomfortably in her bed. Perhaps someone had sneaked a pea under the mattress.
It looks like Big Brother's devious plans to unsettle the housemates is working and there'll be red eyes all round tomorrow morning.
