Hey. Well... I'm wondering if CS4 is much different to CS3 because I'm thinking about '''buying it'''' is it worth it? I only need it for my crappy graphics so would it make a difference?

I wouldn't advise it if its only a beta version.

I wouldn't bother, there are only minor changes and there is really no reason to spend 100's on a upgrade. :)
