View Full Version : Whoa whoa
I'm back! I've been in London for a few days, but I'm back and I'm fluent in Cockney rhyming slang (no, not really). London's ace fun, I'm jealous of all the members who live there! Seriously, we walked through Selfridges on Oxford Street? *drools*
But apart from all that excitement, I've discovered a medical problem (I'm insane - woooohahaha) "down there" which is just peachy to think about, so it's been an up and down sort of two weeks I suppose! Anyway, I'm on holiday for another week, so I intend to fully make the most of them by doing absolutely nothing :thumbs2:

Welcome back.
Medical problem? As in a small thing or something serious? Either way, hope you get better.

A lump. Hmmm. I'm fairly sure it's not serious, having done the sensible thing and doing some research on the internet before I start wailing "I'M DYING!" but I'm obviously going to see the doctor anyway, because it's still a problem, even if it's not serious.
And I have absolutely no idea what cockneys call fifteen pounds, but I hope it's something funny!

Ah right, good luck going to the doctors. Pretty sure it's benevolent anyway, but good luck regardless

Yeah and if not, I guess karma's a b!tch eh?! Deary me, serves me right for making lots of jokes. Ach well, I'll have to phone early Monday morning and get an appointment ASAP.
I think my favourite thing about London has to be the Tube. Seriously, taking the bus from now on is going to be such a let down.

Fifteen pounds is called a Commodore.
Why?
Well. A fiver is known as a lady Godiva. Which is shortened to a lady. Fifteen pounds is 3 times a lady so...................

 Awesome! It was amusing hearing someone actually say "dog and bone" (though from what I gathered, it was jokingly) in real life.

I bet it was!
Yeah! But it has made me more aware of how important it is to regularly check for lumps, just the kind of uncertainty and waiting for my actual appointment made me realise that I value life more than anything. Know yourself, people, know yourself!

Thank you! I'm totally going to become one of those nut jobs who starts promoting cancer awareness, after that worrying experience. Pahaha.

I was like that once with a lump, I was like 'oh my god it's cancer I'm gonna die!' then they told me it was a spot that disapeared a few days later lol
