X Factor hopeful Alexandra Burke has been ordered to stop speaking for a week to save her voice.
Burke, who suffered from a sore throat last week, has been warned by her vocal coaches that she'll damage her singing abilities if she continues as normal.
The singer has been writing notes on a pad for the other housemates to ensure she is prepared for Saturday's show.
Vocal coach Yvie Burnett believes Burke needs to be taught how to use vocal exercises and stop using her voice "unwisely".
The X Factor airs this Saturday at 7.25pm on ITV.
