Yes I do. She is amazing!
She's the first British female solo artist to top the US charts in 20 years.
If that isn't world class, I don't know what is.

Well, because Simon Cowell put her on Oprah.
Any band that goes on Oprah and performs WILL do well.

Agreed with Sia.
Though it depends what you mean by world class.
Vocally;; she's not that different to other artists. Whether you want to make that world class, then fine, but that also means that christina aguilera, amy lee, mariah carey, kelly clarkson, even alexandra burke would be world class if you were going on vocals.
Unique;; no way would Leona be world class if you were going by originality. there is nothing unique about her.
Success;; you can't deny she's world class in terms of success, saying that, she's just a product packaged in a way so that her music is radio friendly. If you take the songs from Kelly Clarkson's latest album, 'My December', imo they'd wipe the floor with Leona's [in terms of instruments, melody and lyrics] however it wasn't 'radio friendly'.
Personally, I don't think she's that amazing, just been packaged well. I won't like her until she starts taking risks, creating good music with good lyrics [(co)written by her] and none of the generated american radio friendly tosh.

maybe you should put in this "Amt Lee"s second name as i doubt most people know who she is...anyway in terms of voclas Leona is better then Mariah AT THE MOMENT.if you compare Leona with Mariah ten years ago then yeea Mariahs probably better but Leonas voice hasnt reached its peak yet so Leonas peak might be better then Mariahs who knows?i dont know much about Christinas voice so i wont go into that.

Maybe Mariah but no way Christina. I've never heard Leona sing powerfully [not high anyway]. If you listen to Christina, she can belt out her upper range and I've only really heard one example from Leona. Obviously it's too early to say, but imo, Amy Lee is the strongest female vocalist [even better than Christina].
Why shouldn't she be included just because she isn't amazingly famous. It doesn't mean her voice isn't better. Perhaps she's better BECAUSE she isn't super famous. That way she doesn't get turned into a product.
