Graham Norton has claimed that Rachel Hylton will lose out on The X Factor because Dannii Minogue is her mentor.

The chatshow host warned that Minogue's guidance will prove to be more of a hindrance than a help for the mother-of-five in the coming weeks.

"I'd really like Rachel Hylton to win this year but it's not going to happen because Dannii's her mentor," Norton complained. "She's like tying a lump of concrete around your neck. I don't think she will do well."

Norton is the latest in a long line of celebrities who have criticised Minogue in recent weeks. Noel Gallagher described the Aussie popstar as "talentless" earlier this week, while Ronan Keating has claimed that she is losing her beauty.

Minogue helped Leon Jackson and Rhydian Roberts to reach the final two during her first year on the ITV1 talent show in 2007.

He sniped: “If there’s one person in the room who wouldn’t know talent if it kicked them in the a*** it’s Dannii Minogue.”

I like Dannii, however I do agree with Graham - but only because it's obvious Cheryl Cole will 'win' this year.

Look who won last year ... oh, Dannii. How is it a problem?

I honestly don't get the hate for her this year, everyone loved her last year. Maybe its because Sharon blamed Dannii for her quitting? Very odd :conf2:
