Prince on YouTube ?

Well after Ruth's performance of 'Purple Rain' last night I wanted to listen to the original. But its nowhere to be found on YouTube. In fact there is no Prince whatsoever on there. In the odd video that there is there is no volume? Why is that?

Maybe he realise that distributing music freely wasn't such a good idea to his wallet.
