I think school dinners are crap so my mum makes a packed lunch for me, I'm happy with sandwiches and fruit and sweets + more sweets, that fills me up. At least then I know I'm gonna eat summin I like, I fink thats the best idea anyhow.

In 6th year there was microaves and toasters so I just had stuff out of tins most of the time,Pot Noodles and the like. I'm around the corner from M&S at uni so usually go there now. Havn't had a school lunch since first year,I lost a stone after I stopped eating them!

What you said was a lot worse, and you started it off with sarcasm in your first post in the topic. So...

I used the word sarcasm, but I could have said 'insult'. Anyway back on topic, I guess...

I don't think it was an insult, I think it's an insult you're accusing of me of insulting someone when I wasn't even insulting them.

But yeah, enjoy your packed lunch I guess

The problem is that now we have reports of teachers policing the packed lunches and removing items on a banned list, like peanut butter sandwiches in case children sare with someone with a peanut allergy. Marmite sandwiches are banned due to salt, as are sweets and chocolate because of obesity guidlines. There was reports of a school removing from a lunch box a child's Jaffa cake

So if you take in a pack lunch and are not careful, you may have hardly anything for lunch time as it will be confiscated and destroyed as it does not conform to the "guideline"

Best to eat the school dinners, as you are guaranteed of getting something.
