Something I've noticed that has been spoke about a lot lately. Are you religious and if you are what faith do you follow?
Basically I'm just interested about any religions/faiths that people on here follow.

i am church of england but non practising (in the sense i dont go church every week etc but still believe)
I dunno what I am.
I got Christined, does that make me Christian?
Strictly I'm a Christian =/
Thought I wasn't Christened and only go to Church like once a year.
I consider myself more agnostic nowadays.

Im Christened but I am not Christian. As I dont believe in a god... I am 100% Atheist and I will never change my mind.

Does Religion really matter to people in this day and age anyway, because everyone I know seems to go against theres so is it still as important as it used to be?

Correct me if I am wrong but I am sure Moses was Jewish... but he helped create Christianity. Just like Jesus was a Jew... but he helped spread the knowledge of Christianity.

Hes a man in the old testament of the bible. He aint a god or nothing. He was a prophet I think.

I think religion is dead in popular culture... unless you are a die hard fan of religion no one follows it... it all seems to be pick and choose these days. If you don't like something then you don't do it... my muslim friend followed his fasting amazingly... but he was drinking last night. Isn't that against the religion?
Its like it with christianity as well... people didn't like bits about it so they changed it to suit them hence why there are so many different versions of christianity.

Religions have characters/idols for their gods the christianity's idea of god that it is a spirit all around us... not an idol or god... its not a physical thing.

Jehova is apparently the 'official' one used in Christianity (hence Jehova's Witnesses) but its a translation of something like Jobe (as you already said) which in turn is a translation of something else. Its been translated a few times, it started off as a word with no vowels that noone can actually pronounce, hence noone actually knows it.

im meant to be catholic but like dont go to church and dont believe in it..
i was christned and had a communion and stuff though.. and in school i still eat the bread which i shouldnt really if i dont believe in it but it tastes nice

Church of England but I dont go as it just isnt relavent to my life. Not sure about God really I dont think there is a being that is God anyway its just a way of being. but I can see the good intention of all religions although bad **** has also been done in their name. I do find it sad that they mite not be any churchs one day, and I worry about the current state of moral values, noone seems to give a **** about their fellow man anymore.

I grew up as quite a strict Christian - I went to Sunday school till I was 16 - but now I'm probably agnostic.
