I hate trying to find a job, I found the perfect one the other day. I live in a tiny village and a job came up that was great pay and only 5 hours a day (25 hours per week)

I went all the way over to Leicester to sort out all the paperwork then be told they had filled the role within the company.....grrrrr

Having said that I've just applied for a **** hot job with same amount of hours for better pay than I was on when I worked as a stockbroker :spin2:

I dont think I'll get it tho but I can but try

Born in leicester but never lived there. I'm a Rutland gal, but lived in Bristol for 10 years, then Leeds for a few then came home back to Rutland with Red Moon early in the year

I've got the job description and my feedback form from the personality test I did and it seems like a very challenging role but I've done it all before just on a smaller scale.

I now have to convince them that I can manage 30 people in a call centre

Kiz I am sure you will be fine. Psychomteric testing is used by a huge number of call centres now. Managing in a call centre is ok, when I worked on the connexions helpline I managed a large team but the systems in place are easy enough to follow.

Thanks Sunny.

Kiz didn't go for the job in the end. They sent her the shift pattens and they wouldn't worked for us, so it back to job hunting for the both of us.

It was a shame the pay was good as was the benefits package.

They wanted me to work every saturday from 2.30 till 11pm and I could have done every other but not every single one

Like Red said, it was a shame but there is no way I could do that and spend time with the kids too
