View Full Version : Stuart and Michelle's Reunion

What did you think of the big reunion. I thought Michelle looked quite worried, perhaps wondering what Stuart's reaction would be to all the newspaper interviews she has given. You could see he was dying to get to his friends and family and I bet she made sure they had to wait.
I thought he was pleased to see her, but not over the moon. Being the romantic that I am I thought we might see a station platform type scenario with them running into each others arms. But in a way it was just like meeting a friend and giving them a hug. No lifting off the floor and staring into each other's eyes.
But then again others may have seen differently.
I think Stuart had something to think about after the clips that were shown showing how controlling Michelle really was and the headlines. He is a big kid and although he likes Michelle - give him the opportunity to go out with his mates and have a good time and he will be off. After all he is only 20 - he is definitely not ready to settle down. Those extra 3 years make all the difference.

I agree, he looked pleased to see her, but personally speaking I don't think he will admit to not liking her as much as she did him, I feel he felt he had to comply in the house because Michelle is a strong character and if he started to back off in the house I am pretty sure he would of been at risk of nomination as well as a hard time from Michelle because of her 'I take no s**t attitude'. He probably felt slightly pressured to act with her the way he did, you could tell when he mellowed out when she left.
I don't think he will marry and have kids with michelle like she wants, especially when he finds out all her stories in the newspaper.

We'll have another chance to see what they are like together on BBLB tonight as I have just received the following press release
BIG BROTHER'S LITTLE BROTHER (Channel 4 at 6pm)
In tonight's show (Thursday 5th August) Dermot reunites Stuart and Michelle. Team Handsome also joins Dermot.
It will be interesting to see how the rest of Team Handsome react towards her as they have made it pretty clear to the press that they didn't think much of her in the house.

For some money off the tabloids team hansom will say anything to the press true or false and the press will twist what they have said anyway. As usual any articles coming from the press should be taken with a huge pinch of salt.
I would have been worried if I had been Michelle too. Watching something you could not immediatel correct.
Davina was not honest with Stuart when she showed him the newspaper headlines claiming she had spilled the beans about the under the table incident. Davina knew well enough that Michelle had made no comment to her and the press on that incident but Davina decieved Stuart.....
Watching last night interview was like watching the tabloid press instead of reading it. Trouble making relationship interfering trash.....

I felt quite sorry for him he looked as if he wanted to see his friends and family but didn't want to push her away.
I think that they tried to cause trouble between them by showiing Michelle's bad points and he didn't seem happy about the press stories she has sold.
I'm sure by now they will have had chance to talk through some of it and put a few things straight.
Tonight will be interesting having Team handsome on aswell as Michelle.I can't wait to see if he's the same with her after he's had chance to speak to them.
I did feel quite sorry for him last night I don't think it gave him time to collect his thoughts.I thought the crowd were brilliant though it must have been an amazing atmosphere.

How awkward though for the pair of them. They probably havent had a chance to spend more than a few moments together what with the press interviews etc that Stuart will have had to face and I am sure Michelle had things arranged as she was sure Stuart was staying in.
Not sure that I want to watch them tonight. It is likely to be all lovey dovey and put on for the show whatever the position. Dermot will be stirring and to have those awful team handsome (who thought that one up must need their eyes testing) on as well. Whatever they think if they are asked if the two make a good couple - what are they going to say = "No we think she is a right little slapper and Stuart will be well rid of her". I dont think so.
Think I may give the Michelle 'he's mine and everyone else keep their hands off' show a miss.

I really don't think their relationship will last. As Michelle said after leaving the house her type is more Victor. I can't think of two dissimilar characters than Vic and Stu. So I'll predict it'll all be over by the end of the year. By that time BB 5 will have been forgotten, they will have both faded into obscurity with the money they made from selling their stories to tabloid newspapers firmly in the bank.

Rach - I cant believe (well perhaps I can) how quickly they have taken the money by selling their story. As another couple said (and I paraphrase) "How stupid we would have looked if we had gone public straight away and then a couple of weeks later it was all over"
These two just want the money and media coverage - how about working at their relationship. We will be seeing them at all the premieres, show biz parties rather than actually spending quality time to get to know one another well outside the house in the real world.
I didnt think much of them before, but this is so cynical.
Stuart was like a overgrown school boy in his interview with Dermot. An adult ready for a long-term relationship - no way. I bet Michelle was seething about the way he behaved with Team Ugly - there's no place for her in that gang of idiots. And Michelle I am afraid they have a big big influence on Stuart.
He is different to how he was in the house - now he's a real immature party animal who calls everyone man and still cant string a proper sentence together. I for one wont be buying any magazine/newspaper their story is in.
How long before the paid holiday comes into play?

Sadly, I have come to the conclusion that I don't have any interest in hearing about this relationship.
Even if a Big Brother romance could be genuine you are always going to be cynical about it because the housemates know that it is such an obvious way to make quick money out of the show. And a free holiday which a magazine pays for each year.
I liked watching Helen and Paul because it was will-they-won't-they and a relationship that built over time, and there were certain circumstances that made the situation for them awkward.
Without those factors relationships started in the Big Brother house are always going to be viewed cynically.

helen and paul had a more realistic and interesting relationship, they were close but they werent going to bite each others head off if they werent together or get green with envy if the other was talking to someone of the opposite sex!!!!

The biggest difference - Paul was 25 and Stuart is 20. Paul was a man with a sense of what is right and wrong and Stuart an overgrown schoolboy who didnt know how to deal with a clingy, jealous girl, but then again she did feed his vanity. Paul and Helen worried about people on the outside, Michelle and Stuart thought of themselves. How will they feel in the future with, probably, different partners and their children perhaps pick up an old video. What's this - oh its mum (or dad) on a tv show behaving like a total .........
