For series 1-2-3-4... Which performance do you think was the best?
Do NOT include series 5 performances..
Only put ONE performance and i will count all of the performances and add the scores up
For me.. Leona Lewis- Summertime

If I could choose season 5... i would also choose Ruth - Purple Rain.
But... I will choose:

I loved all of Leona's from Summertime onwards but if I had to choose it would be 'Without You'.
I also loved her performance with Take That but only because it was with Take That.

...and what if you think the best performance in X Factor history is from Series 5?
Surely if the poll is to choose the best performance in X Factor history, then you should be able to choose from all the performances in X Factor history?

So surely, if you're asking people to choose the best performance in X Factor history, then excluding any performances makes the poll pointless?

Gimme a break! Hope were awful but it was the first proper Girls Aloud style girlband in the live stages so Simon obsessed over them and gave them more credit than they deserved.

I don't see why my opinion should be any less valid than yours. I thought the vocal arrangement was great.

Chico's performance of Hero is also a very close second.

Haha it's OK :)
I thought it was one of the only examples of an X Factor act truly taking matters into their own hands (i.e. taking a song and molding it to their own standards)
That, and I didn't want to be another "Leona..." poster, all of her performances were good, but everyone else has already praised her to high heaven
Brenda-Respect
One of the best vocals but as well as that she really performs it and doesnt just stand and sing

Shes my favourite ever contestant but I'm glad she didn't win- she wouldn't have lasted in the charts and would have been branded as a reality TV flop. Instead shes been really successful in the West End and she does LK Today's X Factor thing. Arguably shes ended up more successful than Shayne.
