Dan and Jason have been reminiscing about old friends from the Big Brother House, including Michelle, Ahmed and the recently departed Stuart.
"It's funny to see how certain characters got stronger [in the House]," Jason began. "They come in and are overawed by certain people in here then all of a sudden... Like Michelle - you never noticed her in the first couple of weeks."
"Oh, I did straight away because I noticed her nails," said Dan, camply.
"Did you not say 'You don't even know she's here' because she was so quiet?" asked Jason.
"That's what spoke volumes to me. I thought there's more to her," said Dan.
Undeterred Jason continued. "And in the first couple of weeks Ahmed was non-existent. If there'd been a proper eviction he'd have went. Then all of a sudden it was good to know what he was about," said the Scot of his Jungle Cat pride member.
"If he'd have went we would never have known anything about him," he concluded. "That's a complex character. His heart's on his sleeve all the time."
"I loved his bluntness," said Dan, suddenly an Ahmed fan. "Us Northerners, we're used to that," he explained.
The two boys were then joined by the House ladies, Nadia and Shell, and the quartet tried to imagine Stuart's reaction to his eviction in the Diary Room last night.
"He'd have been like 'Whooaaa! Duuuuude!!'" said Dan, doing a fair old Stu impression.
Then Jason put forward a theory that the public voting tended to favour older housemates.
"Apart from Ahmed, it's always been the youngest person that went. Vanessa, Michelle, Marco, and Stuart went. We're three of the oldest in here," he said, excluding Shell.
"I act slightly older," she offered, as explanation for her continued presence.
"Maybe old is the new young," declared Dan, with gravitas.
